Price of Freedom- Remastered

Writing quality is good, formating is a bit off like dialougue but its not unreadable. Main problems are forced plot points and power scaling. The MC before meeting Luffy is consistently beating the strongest slaves in Mary Geoise and is muscled and very strong. Yet In the next arc he gets tripped by normal people and kicked by Nezumi. He can catch bullets but wood cuts him? Also the insane amount of abuse makes no sense for one peice. He is in East Blue- ShoulD be the strongest by a large margin and is basically a doormat until the plot requires him. As far as i have read it is a rehash of cannon with a useless MC.

Well I don't need to read it, to judge the story. Monkey is a phenomenal writer, a bonafide perfectionist, a man of quality, even if he writes trash(lol) than I'll still read it. Trust me if your a regular here than you know what you'll get, but if you're new than I would suggest you to go and read his other stories, I guarantee it you'll not regret it.

Starts out okay, but then just follows the whole "meet Straw Hats and follow the OP plot". Terrible FF, honestly one of your worst yet. If you want to basically re-read One Piece, by all means, go for it. It's basically One Piece from a schizophrenic MC's POV.

You know what, I am glad we get to see Monkey back right now. And, while there aren't many chapters, after seeing Monkey's growth as a writer throughout his different novels, I can say that I believe he can do justice and make the Price of Freedom better than the original.

only story development is 1 star for me, after 2nd personality disorder came out it just went downhill for me............................................

Good story! I’m at chapter 67 now, and really like the story so far. The mc is fleshed out and the character interaction is excellent. The story development is good too. I’m curious how the story wil develop with the mc involvement. Keep up the good work author!

Awesome so far. Big improvement from the OG novel. Love thirteen as a character and can imagine him actually being apart of the crew. That's how good a job you've done at integrating him into the one piece world. Just hope that the pairings different from the OG, I was never, and will never really be a fan of a Carrot pairing. Carry on the awesome work, I'll be looking forward to the future of this novel.

do something about the double personality, at least show he is working towards acceptance or recognition. the whole idea is a cliche that is already in the story, there is no need to write about another.

The first arc started with no introduction, then you'll find that MC is a slave and in MJ around ch 3. It also doesn't help the story with or without the first 15 chapters, it will just bore readers. There's a reason why Oda only reserve 1-3 panels of flashback towards these details. The story is also meh, fanfics with OC MCs that follows the OG MC are mostly rehash. This is just worse.

I have read all the chapters so I'm here to say a few things. I like the fact that the MC is a Mink and there seems to be a mystery behind his parents etc. I like the goal of the MC (Kill all the World Nobles), it can add a lot of original events into the story, like being targeted more often etc. The MC joins the straw hats which is fine if the MC being there actually changes how original events play out. The only part of the story I'm not a fan of is the double personality, not that it's bad or anything but It's just not my thing. I would just rather have the MC keep his normal personality, anti-social but tries to learn to be normal like everyone else. Anyway, I hope you eill continue this story!
