For those of you upset by the loss of the parents: I am truly happy you feel that way because I am too. I really connected with Tom and Atlanna, and I hope you did too. I grew up with out good parental figures and it was cathartic to write, not perfect but, loving and caring parents for the MC. It was a difficult and long thought out plan beginning from the moment the wish was made. I wanted to spare Harry the life he had in the books. My character wasn't thinking about how attached he would become to his new parents when that wish was made. It was a lack of foresight on his part. Tutu = Grand like grandma or grandpa

What a great start to the story it was written so well that when his parents died you could really feel the loss.

...fun fact... there is water in the blood and blood is a liquid ... so the mc must develop his own blood magic to take revenge on Voldemort and his Death Eaters

naive who asks for that kind of thing most people would ask for wishes from rob but he asked for getting marked by voldemort which would obviously mean death of his parents stupidity of mc I am so dissapointed this is the only thing in this whole FF which doesn't make sense otherwise it is good ff

I honestly prefer that Harry go through everything than that I lose my parents, it may be selfish what I say but I'm right, I prefer that someone else suffers than I have to suffer things like that Pd:And the tattoos? When will you have them?

Everyone in the comments just talk how he protected Harry from a hard childhood. Why do everyone forgets that we have all read the entire 7 booked saga, Harry grew up to be a good man(excluding the cursed child).

Thanks author that a great story I understand the dead of the parent it all part of the story which the MC did not see that coming as he thought he won't have attachment with them when he ask for the wishes.

This is ridiculous. It's not just the MC being a moron and giving up his parents to save Harry's. He made the choice to sacrifice them. He, not Voldie, was ultimately responsible for their deaths. And all because he was so much of a fanboy that he decided killing his own parents was worth a different (not necessarily better) upbringing for someone he never even met. He can save the crocodile tears; he clearly showed how much his parents were worth to him when he made his wishes.
