RWBY: Dungeons

A little girl who had black hair with red tips was seen walking down the streets of Patch, her body was skinny as her arms were littered with wounds, she wore nothings but rags as she continued to walk. Sometimes when she passed by some people they would throw stuff at her, her dead silver eyes stare straight not even caring about what they threw at her.

Her name is Ruby Rose, a four year old girl who will turn five at midnight, she is part of the Rose/Xiao Long Family that is living in Patch. She is the youngest in the family with her half sister being eight. Right now she had just escaped her sister's daily beatings by running away to the forest, not the best idea because of the Grimm but it was better than staying in a place where she was beaten.

At the age of three she had already been exposed to the cruel reality of the world, she had failed to unlock her Aura. Her once so called friends turned their backs on her and mocked her, her family gave her the cold shoulder and even beating her till she was badly bruised.

Just like last time she had entered the forest searching for food, she couldn't rely on her parents to feed her as they didn't care for her anymore. Her empty stomach grumbled as she picked up her pace to find berries or anything edible really.

"I'll have to get back home soon or else mom will lock me in my room again" She muttered, she went through some bushes to find a large symbol etched on the ground.

Curious she went over to take a closer look, she noticed that it was drawn with blood. She was about to get closer when a feeling of dread crept up from behind her, "You have got to be kidding me" She rolled to the side as a large bear-like Grimm attacked her last position, she was sweating bullets. How am I supposed to fight this thing with my weak body!?

The Grimm roared as she took it as a sign to get out of there, although she ran she was just a small weak child while the Grimm was a bear. It slowly caught up to her and was ready to pounce.

I'm going to die I'm going to die! At that moment she tripped on a rock, with her back to the ground she watched as the bear pounched at her, her heart thumping loud as the feeling of death overcame her. She closed her eyes awaiting the pain she was going to feel.

The feeling never came, opening one of her eyes she saw the bear was nowhere to be found and also that she wasn't in the forest anymore. She was sitting on the ground of stone bricks in a not so well lit room, she placed her hand on her chest as she slowly calmed herself down from the experience just now.

"Where... Am I?" She stood up with difficulty as she once again glanced around the room, there wasn't anyone here other than her, "Hello?" She called out but no one answered, "Hello is anybody here?" She asked once again to be met with silence, all of a sudden the torches on the wall brightened up as a screen came into her vision.

[Unknown Entity has been detected inside the dungeon, proceeding with the scan...

Scanning unknown entity... Scan complete entity...

Entity now has been identified as the human Ruby Rose, code No. 001 has been given to human Ruby Rose...

Welcome to Dungeon No.445 of the Remnant Universe]

She looked at the screen and found out she can strangely read it, Ruby wasn't taught how to read or write so being able to read what was written on the screen was astonishing for her, "Um... Hello my name is Ruby what's your name?" She asked the screen with a slight tilt with her head.

She was met with no reply, she felt that the screen infront of her didn't hear her so she spoke once again this time with her voice raised, "A-ah Hello Mr. Screen, my name is Ruby. What's your name?" After that was silence, after a few minutes of waiting she was about to give up that is until the letters on the screen changed.

[Code 001 emotional state has been scanned, current status confused...

Contacting Operator of Dungeon No. 445...]

The screen said as the sound of someone falling off their seats sounded in her mind, "F*CK!!" The voice screamed scaring her, her body becoming stiff as a log. A groan soon followed, "Damn it System, I was sleeping" The voice sounded really angry making young Ruby shake in fear.

"Huh? What the h*ll are you doing here kid?" The voice questioned, Ruby gulped down a mouthful of her saliva but nonetheless answered the voice, "I-I-I Don't know mr voice, I was in the forest on patch being chased by a bog scary bear and then I was here" She was really scared, where is she? Why is she here?

"Wait a minute, you said in the forest of patch right?" Ruby kept silent and nodded, realising that the voice must've not known that she nodded she was going to answer but the voice beat her to it, "I see, now I know why you're here, you've f*cking found the summon script in the forest! Now the other operators won't mock me anymore yes!! Hahaha!" The voice was laced with glee as Ruby stood rooted in place confused why the voice in her brain was happy.

"Kid you must've been inside of the circle when the Grimm chased you right?" Ruby once again nodded as the voice laughed again, "Well then I welcome you to Dungeon White Mist, I am the operator of this dungeon. It's a pleasure meeting you Beta Tester!"
