I can see why people could like it but not for me. It gives harem vibes and major blatant saving damsels in distress. The system even forces him in first few chapter to keep saving girls. eh as if there's not enough of those already.. You could read it regardless, enjoy

I don't know why I bother attempting to read these kind of stories but whatever. Here is another MC saves girls and then girls for some reason falls for him and he starts gathering girls like its pokemon, i mean gotta catch em all am i right? I personally don't see why authors always have to make harems because you dont need to add a girl to his collection to write a good story and you can satisfy all your lonely fantasies with 1 girl. The story is only slightly different then most other stories of this genre with that system so if your looking for another of the 1 million of these kind of novels where the MC gets a system, picks up girls that has no personality and mind of their own, and ends up a god at the end or something of the sort then this is for you! Long story short there is nothing that really unique about this and its just another story to add to the many in the list of Harem/Systems.

Despite it having many flaws, I enjoyed reading this novel, mainly because I learned the hard way that when reading a webnovel I should mostly turn my brain off... Anyway, let's get started on listing what I didn't like, since that's usually what I'm looking for in reviews. There are slight inconsistencies with main character's personality. Sometimes he's curious, sometimes he's not. Author seems to think that having limited curiosity is a strong point and insists that mc must be like that, which you know I'm not really against that, cuz it's his story, he can have his own views and can talk about them however he wants. But, whenever plot needs to move forward the curiosity somehow appears! Ta-da! It's like magic. As with any novel written for commercial purposes, it's full of cliches, this shouldn't come off as too much of a surprise at this point. There's nothing wrong with cliches, what's important is how it's used, but of course you can't expect much from a webnovel (once again). The cliche I'm talking about isn't the system or anything which has been elaborated on countless times, for some reason I've not noticed people talking about this much, it's when mc gets a new tool or ability and it miraculously comes in handy, for some god forsaken reason it's somehow just what he needed. But at least he doesn't get everything served to him on a silver platter, he still hasn't gotten the english skill he desperately needed but considering it has turned into his only weakness by now, I suspect it was kept to make mc not seem too op, while at the same time get a reason to make some jokes. The comedy is above average in this novel imo, it's not really good but isn't meh. The relationship with female characters seems weird. It smells of harem, but it also feels like max author will do is write suggestive things, I'd prefer if there's no romance altogether. Author randomly deducts mc's IQ for the sake of comedy, while at other times he becomes a straight A student. Police doesn't exist in this world, as far as I've noticed. A guy gets repeatedly beaten up over the span of approximately over a week, but doesn't report mc to the police. Possible explanations I can think of is not wanting to be known as a snitch, no one wanting to testify bcs he's a gangster (but his friends got beaten up together with him, plus since he's a gangster he could use threats), not wanting to lose face (but the whole neighborhood knows about it), or it could just be a plot convenience. I wonder which one is it? 🤔 That'll be it cuz Webnovel lags really hard whenever I try to write a review.

Eh. It’s a good read. Good enough for 1 hour of reading at least. It’s just annoying that the MC is needlessly oppressing his minions. He treats them badly for trivial reasons and is generally a hypocritical jerk to everyone he doesn’t like. There’s this one time when he took AI girl’s money for no reason without the intention of returning it. He asks his dog to help him in exchange for treats but he never intended to follow his end of the deal. I’m not saying he should cater to their every need but he should at least treat them like people. Side characters are good. MC is just disappointing.

in the end he became a racist, it's so disappointing. I stopped reading this novel when he praised China as the best country like a mad fanatic. I think I want to retract the 5-star review I gave.

Overall a pretty solid start to a novel. After reading the free chapters I can say it has set the stage excellently for a slow slice of life with a twist. The characters are realistic with quirks but not becoming stereotypes of caricatures . As for complaints its mostly minor things, there's rare but significant translation hiccups, the setting is mostly pretty uninspired, and there's only a limited number of chapters available currently. Otherwise the pacing is a little slow, and the MC does have a "system" of sorts which may be off putting to some.

It's a great story from eternal era but sadly although this author write great story he is "always drop the story & write a brand new one" whenever people no longer pay for his chapter at the chinese raw Qidian. Beware you had been warned, this author always drop his story & write a new one like madsnail

After reading everything that's translated at the moment I really have nothing, but praises. I really do hope that this gets selected so I have something to entertain myself with.
