Mountains, Mountains, and More Mountains

Ben finally opened his eyes after he could tell that the flash was gone. As soon as he did that, he realized that he was in unfamiliar territory. And that territory was cold... really cold. There was snow on the ground, in the air, and on the trees. No matter where he looked he saw snow. If Ben had one word to describe this place it would be freezing. The ground was freezing, snow was freezing, and although he hadn't touched one yet, he felt safe assuming the trees were as well.

Ben had gone camping before and he remembered that the first thing that you should do when your lost is to survey your surroundings. Ben did just that, and in the corner of his eye he saw three floating dots labeled menu.

Ben thought "Huh menu what does that mean?", and just like that it opened up. Just like a game, a screen appeared listing stats and other features of Ben.

Ben was astounded by this. He had only ever seen something like this in games and in movies. Apparently he just so happened to be living a life that was just like one of those. He was curious about the stat's when a robotic explained that the average person had a value of 10 for each stat. He couldn't tell what gender the voice was as it seemed to be lacking any way to distinguish which gender it would belong to. He then began to process the information he was given.

For the most part it made sense, as he did competitive sports which gave him an extra point in strength and endurance. He didn't get any bonus points in Agility, but it made sense because he was never particularly good at moving really fast with short bursts of energy. His base perception was 7, and he assumed that the extra 3 was given to him because of his glasses. He did really well in school hence the 12 for his intelligence, and he never was super enthusiastic about anything in his past so he understand the low charisma. The only thing that bothered him was his luck.

Why was his luck so low? He couldn't figure this out as he thought it was average, but he realized that maybe that was why he was teleported to the freezing cold in the middle of nowhere. Speaking of cold, he began to shiver. He decided that he would have to leave soon to find warmth, but before that he wanted to do one more thing.
