CHAPTER 6

Silverstone Pack

Flora kept mute for a minute. Was she really ready to let it all go? Could she risk it all? She knew that Riven loved her very much but was it worth it if he did not find her attractive. She needed someone who would love her all without her having to beg for it.

"Yes" That word changed her world forever. 

 Dylan wasted no time pulling her in for a kiss. His hands moved to her butt. He squeezed her butt as he kissed her with all he had. He finally had the person Riven wanted. Finally something he had to himself.  Dylan gently pulled her dress up to her waist. He turned them around so she could be the one by the walls of the garden. 

"I love you" He whispered as he held her to face the wall. Not happy with the limited access he had to her, Dylan carried her and laid her on the floor. Flora wrapped her legs around Dylan's torso. He continued to enter her with vigour.

"Flora? Dylan?"Both Flora and Dylan froze. They could not be mistaken. That was definitely Riven's voice. Flora pushed Dylan off her. She quickly adjusted her dress as Dylan did the same. They did not understand why Riven's face was emotionless. They could not tell how he was feeling.

"Ba..." Flora started but Riven was having none of it.

"You accuse me of sleeping around because you are guilty?"

"No. I swear to you, this is the first time." Flora was already in tears. In that moment she regretted her rash decision. 

"I want you both out of my territory and my life after the Winter Moon Harvest tomorrow night" 

"Typical of Riven to be annoyed that things did not go his way"

"I don't know what the hell that means and I do not care. I just want you both out" Riven repeated.

"I do care!" Dylan yelled. "This past year you got every single thing I ever wanted and for the first time I got something that you wanted and you can't take that?" Dylan continued to scream his frustrations.

"I did not steal anything from you Dylan. YOU chose to compare our successes and in the end you concluded I was better than you. You did this to yourself Dylan and I want you to be man enough to take the responsibility for that"

"Did you just call me 'thing'? You lied to me?" Flora was appalled. Dylan only wanted her because Riven had her and she played right into his game.

Dylan loved Flora but in the moment he did not want to admit that.

"Yes Flora and you were stupid enough to fall for it. I only wanted to have you because Riven did. I have no use for you anymore" Flora slapped him hard as new hot tears rolled down her cheeks.

"To hell with you, Dylan!" She ran off

"I WILL DESTROY YOU AND EVERYTHING YOU ARE YET TO BUILD. YOU WILL CURSE THE DAY YOU MET ME" Riven promised.

PRESENT

Riven needed a release. Remembering event of seven years ago still left the same hurt. He no longer loved Dylan or Flora but he was angry, angry at himself for being so stupid. He trusted them and they hurt him.

"I need a release Ray" Riven sent a mind link to his Beta Raymond Sahara. 

"I'll meet you in your personal training room in five" Riven changed his clothes and got ready for training. In no time Ray was in his room.

"Thank y..." Riven wanted to thank Ray. He helped fix what he did not break with no questions.

"Don't thank me Riven. I've told you this countless times" Ray smiled "Let's get to business" Ray urged. They started sparring.

"I need you to go hard on me" Riven said. Ray nodded. The two friends soon began fighting. Riven lost a couple times and Ray lost a couple times also.

"You boys can stop now" Ray and Riven stopped on hearing Aphrodite's voice from the main room. They both had eye contact and laughed. Aphrodite always stopped their fights like that.

"Who are you referring to as a boy?" Ray asked when he got to the main room leaving Riven behind in the training room.

"Not you" Aphrodite whispered and they both giggled.

"What's so funny?" Riven asked as soon as he got to his room. He looked between them strangely suspicious.

"Nothing" Aphrodite and Ray said at the same time.

"Are you sleeping with my sister?" Riven asked. When did they start sharing inside jokes whilst leaving him out of it?

"No"

"And if he was?" They said simultaneously. 

"What am I missing here?" Riven asked again. Aphrodite moved closer to her brother and held him.

"You are not missing anything brother. Stop being so paranoid" Riven forced a smile and three of them went down for snacks.

  Ray and Aphrodite knew that Riven will be so angry they lied to him. Ray joined as a warrior three years ago and they found out they were mates then but Aphrodite did not want to be a sore to her brother's already existing wounds. She knew he still hurt so badly from the betrayal seven years ago. Her finding love could make him lose it and she did not want that for her brother. She planned on telling him as soon as he found his own mate. 

  Although Ray was against Aphrodite's logic he had to agree with her. They will tell him when the time was right. For now they would pretend like nothing was going on between them.

"I'm trying to get Riven to go for the late alpha Wade's memorial" she mentioned. She really wanted her brother to go for an event.

"You should go. Who knows? You could meet your mate there" Riven smiled.

"I doubt that" The idea intrigued Riven. At twenty seven, he always thought he would have had two of the children he wanted. Finding his mate in an event there his trauma was going to be present did not sound so bad. It does. Riven looked at Ray and Aphrodite.

"I don't think I will go. I can find any random female who is strong enough to be Luna. I don't want to see Dylan and Flora before that happens" Riven concluded.

"Even you can't deny that there is a higher chance of finding that in the event." Aphrodite said trying to convince her brother.

"You could get a contract drafted and make whomever you choose sign it." Ray suggested.

"That's such a good idea" Aphrodite screamed while hugging her brother.

"Please Riv. Give it a try"
