'Today Tatsuya told me he finished his initial Guardian training and will be assigned as Miyuki's bodyguard. I am happy for him as besides me it's the only other person he can feel anything for so I hope he can find some enjoyment there though I know that's impossible he doesn't have that ability.' Sighing in frustration at my inability to do anything about his emotions yet, I dodge kunai from the sides clearing my mind I decided to back to my training with Kokonoe Sensei.

Kokonoe Sensei looks at me in the eye with his usual look of boredom and says, "looks like your mind is wandering do you need a break little Yotsuba prince?" finishing off his sentence with a teasing grin on his face. While one of his students attacks me from a blind spot forcing me to dodge to the side in a roll, coming to my feet I see him in front of me attacking with a knife-hand. Using elemental sight I see the magic sequence on his hand causing the air around to vibrate at high frequency making his hand as dangerous as a sword. I cast a magic sequence on myself to make the air around me blast away like an explosion to force him back, only for him to fade away like a mirage and feel a hand on my shoulder. Turning around I see Kokonoe Sensei standing there relaxed as always, cursing under my breath I say "I yield".

While walking back to my room after the training with Kokonoe sensei I contemplate future events, 'there are no events to worry about till I am 13 when the attack on Okinawa happens so I need to get as strong as possible before then. I can finally use elemental sight without issue so next, I need to start working on flash cast and mist dispersion, I have gotten the gist of flash cast down but it inefficient for regular use so it's better to keep it for situations where systematic is too cumbersome or slow to activate. As for Mist Dispersion, it's reliant on Elemental Sight being able to know the makeup of an object to obliterate it from existence. I can do that but it takes too long so I need to shorten the time between reading the target data and activation of the magic.' With a contemplative look on my face, I head to sleep.

'I have been working on the speed of activation and reading of the data of the target and activation of mist dispersion in my free training time. It took around 6 months for it to get to almost instantaneous activation, while doing this during my training with Maya I accidentally used Gram Dispersion on her magic when she was sparing with me. I doubt she was surprised but noticed that for a short moment she paused most likely her analyzing it and afterward she forced me to practice using it while bombarding me with magic. It was hell but that training assisted a lot in getting used to using Mist Dispersion in general so I was grudgingly thankful even though I woke up and with a severe migraine.' Shivering with mild fear I think back on that day.

Maya with her innate magic Meteor Stream activated was shooting magic with different elements at me changing the activation speed and direction of the attack constantly, this in her words was to train my ability to feel phenomenon rewriting and react to the activation and move out of the line of fire. This was impossible until I was able to keep Elemental Sight Activated while moving. Further, into our training, I was dodging and moving activating boost magic to move faster and dodge I messed up and dodged down a line of Sequences and rolled right in front of an activating sequence. Reflexively I used Elemental Sight to read the sequence then decomposed it to Psion's with Gram Dispersion it was like a bullet hitting glass the magic sequence shattered and was canceled out. She paused her activations canceled Meteor Stream then she opened her eyes looked at me as if asking for an explanation, I looked to her and explained how it happened.

With her normally expressionless face she looks me in the eye and says, "So you're saying you just fully analyze the magic sequence and decomposed it into meaningless Psions?" I nod hesitantly and respond "Yes." She looks to her watch and says "Change of plans we will have you get used to doing this for the remainder of today's scheduled training." Knowing this is going to increase my torture but having no choice I just nod "Yes mother." As soon as the words leave my mouth six magic sequences surround me and I backflip away attempting to blow them up with Gram Dispersion. She had adjusted the sequences so that they were overlapping and cycled through different types to make it so I had to fully understand the magic sequence with elemental sight to take each one out with Gram Dispersion. I was constantly dodging by a hairbreadth getting hit by the shrapnel of the elements exploding on the ones I could not negate fast enough. After 30mins straight were Maya was constantly increasing the number of sequences I couldn't keep up and got hit by a bombardment of ice and fire. {Eidos Backup Auto Start} feeling the now familiar auto-activation of regrowth restoring my body to the perfect condition I feel all the pain hit my mind causing me to lose consciousness.

Kazuya ponders a bit "I would like to be able to used regrowth better before Okinawa so I guess it's time to speak with Maya about being able to train it as it's far too strong an ability for it to knock me out after using it." Switching my emotions with my ability I head towards her office to request a meeting.
