~Time skip Four Months since Experiment on the twins~

(Sigh…. Looks like all my wishes so far have been granted) Says Kazuya as he blinks away his fatigue and the sleepiness in his eyes.

'I awoke at six years old to my old life's memories seems that the experiment by my mother and aunt was the trigger for me to be ready to handle them. The first thing I did was edit their work on the locking of my powers, I would like to be able to use the trigger on my emotions separately from the lock it's like having a gamer mind and would be useful in many situations. It took me months to get it right and with much trepidation, as this is my first time messing with someone's mind, and the first person I do it to is myself, maybe not my best plan but I'm only six and don't have access to many test subjects!' As Kazuya was thinking of this his mind went to his twin.

(I regret not helping Tatsuya with my wishes as well but with me having my mother's magic I should be able to do something to assist in him getting his emotions back I guess.) Kazuya shows a regretful expression but it soon is wiped away by a wry smile.

'That reminds me about how shortly after the experiment I was brought in front of my aunt and mother that was the day my new life turned in a weird direction.' While reminiscing the short conversation from back then flashes through his mind.

*Flashback*
(Kazuya from today on you will be acting like my son.) Miya says expressionlessly.
(What, Why?!) Kazuya shouts with a look of confusion.
(Kazuya!) Miya sternly calls Kazuya out of his stupor.
(….) Kazuya frowns but looks up at his mother and aunt waiting for an explanation.
Maya with an expressionless face says (I and you mother have discussed this and due to your abilities you will need to have the Yotsuba name to match your abilities right Miya?) Maya finishes her statment in a matter-of-factly tone of voice.
Miya sighs and with a look of sorrow in her eyes says. (She is correct Kazuya this is for your good no one would believe someone of your talents was not from one of the 10.)
Kazuya looks at his mother with betrayal. (But mother!)
Miya's expression of sorrow is replaced with a look of resolution. (No but this is final you will move to the main house, starting from today you are my nephew understood?)
Maya chimes in with a tone of boredom and finality. (Do you understand Kazuya you will call me mother from today no exceptions.)
(Yes Mother Maya, Aunt Miya…) Kazuya finally speaks with a tone of exhaustion and acceptance.
*End Flashback*

("Sigh" that was a huge shock when it happened didn't expect to be adopted by Maya like Tatsuya was later in the story.) Kazuya says with a hint of regret.
Kazuya ponders 'When I calmed down a few days later I realized it did make sense and it helps me not to try and change Miyuki and Tatsuya's relationship too soon.'
(I assume this is due to the changes caused by me being here and cannon trying to maintain its correct route. It was a bit depressing as I still have the emotions and memories of those Six years with Miya as a mother, but time moves forward and with how hard my training has been with Maya/mom I have come to respect her and see her differently.) Kazuya sighs again and looks at the ceiling of his bedroom.
(Soon one of the servants will come to wake me for my morning exercise might as well get up) Kazuya pushes off his blankets and moves to his attached bathroom to do his morning ritual. Kazuya soon leaves the bathroom dressed and prepared for another day of his hellish training with Maya his new mother.
