Titan to human

*Flashback*

"Mum, we found this kid when we were out, I think he's one of the refugees," Eren said as he walked into the house and headed straight for Carla.

Carla came out of the kitchen with a plate of food in her hands, "What do you mean a kid?" She asked, before placing the plate on the table.

She dusted her hands on the apron she was wearing and walked over to Ayato who was still standing at the entrance.

"Hello mam," Ayato said, he stylishly took a peep inside the house, "it's exactly as the anime is portrayed," He said to himself.

"Are you lost? Where's your family" Carla asked, placing her hands on his shoulder as she tried to confront him.

"Uhm… damn it what do I say?" Ayato panicked as she stared at Carla, "They are dead" He quickly uttered.

The whole place went quiet for a while," by titans?" Eren asked, running towards Ayato.

"Eren!" Carla shouted, "Don't ask people something like that" She added.

"No, it's fine,..." Ayato paused, "they've been dead for a long time" he gave out a gloomy look before following it with a smile.

"Hey, you don't have to worry, I'll get an Mp to take -" Carla was interrupted by the growling Ayato's stomach made.

She chuckled before standing, "Are you hungry?" She asked.

Ayato got in and was granted a seat at their dining table, "Everything looks so real, I'm in a child's body, this is way too freaky" He was feeling anxious, tapping his fingers on the table continuously.

"So, where do you stay? I know I shouldn't ask this but, how did you see a titan?" Eren asked, slamming his hands on the table as he leaned forward.

"Eren, you should pressure guests while they're eating," Mikasa said, pulling Eren down with her hands.

"What's wrong with you? Didn't you hear what he said" Eren yelled.

"I'm just saying"

Ayato sat there and watched the two of them bicker, "Excuse me, I'm done with my food" Ayato raised his hands before getting to his feet.

He cleared his plate and placed it in the middle of the dining table before heading toward the door. Carla was in her room and had already told him to leave anytime he wanted, but he should head straight to an Mp for help first.

"Wow, you're leaving?" Eren asked, sounding a bit disappointed.

"Yeah, I overstayed my welcome anyway" Ayato replied, "What am I supposed to do now, of all the places why Aot?" Ayato thought to himself.

"Why don't you stay here?"

"What?"

"I'm sure if I talk to my dad, he'll understand, same thing he did for Mikasa too, right?" Eren turned to Mikasa with a bright look on his face.

"Yeah but…"

Grisha walked in, opening the door only to see Ayato in front of him, "Who are you?" he asked.

But Ayato couldn't answer, his face was filled with shock, "No way.."Just behind Grisha was Eren in his older form and Zeke too.

"Hey Ayato, what's wrong?" Eren asked.

It seemed like the others weren't able to see them, Ayato noticed the way Eren was staring at him intensively.

"Wait, hold on a minute,... That's Eren right.. which means… means what? How is he? Damn this wasn't part of the anime was it?"

Grisha turned to check why Ayato was so stunned and instead looked away immediately with his eyes widened in fear, "Mikasa, take the boy upstairs" Grisha said.

"Okay," Mikasa walked up to Ayato, "Come on let's go" Mikasa held his hands and dragged him with her.

"Dad?" Eren saw the look on his father's face.

"You should go with them too," Grisha said.

"What about Ayato? I don't think he has anywhere else to go, "Eren uttered.

"His name is Ayato? If he wants to stay" Using his left eye Grisha peeped at Adult Eren who was still standing outside the house, "Then welcome him to the family".

While Mikasa was leading him to the stairs she kept on calling his name, but he didn't respond, "Ayato, Ayato, Ayato!"

Ayato immediately woke up from the dream, but he was too drained to open his eyes.

"Ayato!" Mikasa yelled.

He slowly sat upright, at first he could only hear Mikasa's voice, but then, later on, he heard multiple screams and rumbling, each sounds coming from different angles.

He quickly opened his eyes and found Mikasa standing in front of him with her blades drowned out.

"Where's the female titan?" That was the first thing that came out of his mouth.

Mikasa turned as soon as she heard his voice, "Ayato, great you're awake, run get out of here".

"Run? What do you mean?" He looked all around and saw that he was in the middle of nowhere and all around him were titans.

Eren was in his titan form and was taking on the armored titan all on his own, the rest of the soldiers were taking on the small titans while some were moving toward the gates.

While they were on the road, Reiner transformed into a titan and immediately broke through the ranks.

Every was surprised but due to thier current predicament, no one had time to worry about that, they had to survive.

The female titan came out of the forest and charged toward them bringing with her a swarm of titans.

Commander Erwin told his soldiers to keep moving, but even that wasn't enough, some soldiers had to stay behind to fight the titan while the others went to get back up from the gates.

Eren was completely overwhelmed by the armored titan, it was so close to taking Eren away from his titan husk.

Ayato was shocked, watching as soldiers were dying at the hands of the titans, left and right, "Why? Why is this happening?" Ayato yelled, tears almost falling from his eyes.

"Listen to me Ayato" Mikasa turned to him, "I know you want to do something about this but you can't, so run okay, if you died here.... look, I'll keep them-"

"Mikasa!" Ayato yelled, an abnormal titan came jumping out of nowhere with its mouth open ready to snap Mikasa.

Ayato pulled her out of the way but in the process, the titan ate his left arm, and he fell to the ground screaming in pain.

Mikasa tried to comfort him but then something caught her attention, the titan that ate Ayato's hand began shrieking.

Steam began to come out from its body and the titan started to dry out, before anyone knew what was going on the titan had already turned into a naked man, unconscious on the ground.

"Unbelievable," Mikasa uttered, watching as steam came out from the man's body.
