In a world hanging by a thread, where fragile order crumbles under the weight of arrogance, an empire's ambition reignites the catastrophes of a forgotten age. Ancient souls, long slumbering, awaken to a realm haunted by echoes of castles and towers, consumed by lust, betrayal, and bloodshed. Amid the chaos, mysterious cards—relics of a bygone era—stir with untold power, weaving the threads of magic and fate. As the past and present collide, an inevitable doom looms on the horizon, drawing ever closer with each passing moment!

As one of the only two living souls to have ever survived the Killing Curse, Sean Grills sometimes feels like he's accidentally riding on Harry Potter's fame. But he has a secret of his own: the Magic-Eyes, a gift that allows him to perceive the very essence of magic. When an enemy casts a spell, Sean doesn't just see it—he understands it. And what he understands, he can master. "You say this is your magic?" he'd smirk. "It's mine now." It's a level of skill that would make the entire Uchiha clan nod in respect and force even Snape's most gifted apprentice to mutter, "Blimey, you're more powerful than I was in my youth." To the students of Hogwarts, he is the ideal senior: talented, handsome, and approachable. Yet, behind the castle's ancient walls lie mysteries far greater than schoolyard rivalries—the hidden history of their world and the true origin of wizardkind. Sean's incredible journey starts here.

My life was ordinary. At the age of 14, I was walking on a regular day, heading to school. As I walked down the street, I was thinking about watching the latest film in my favorite series—Harry Potter. In that one, Harry defeats the evil Voldemort. Suddenly, I heard a loud noise. It startled me, and before I could react, everything went black. I had died... and awakened in a new world I never imagined I’d live in. But keep watching, because I was destined to rise to greatness in this world of magic and become one of the strongest wizards it had ever known. English is not my first language, so if there are any unclear words, I sincerely apologize." Let me know if you'd like a more formal or casual version!

Author: Donald Firesmith is the prize-winning author of speculative fiction including The Secrets of Hawthorne House (teen paranormal urban fantasy), the Hell Holes series (alien invasion science fiction), and Magical Wands: A Cornucopia of Wand Lore (fantasy). Named a Distinguished Engineer by the Association of Computing Machinery, he is also the author of 7 technical books in system and software engineering. In his spare time, he crafts one-of-a-kind jeweled magic wands. It was only an old book that the professor found while traveling by train through Scotland. A scholar of medieval history, Professor George Smith was on sabbatical studying Scottish legends and myths when he chanced to meet an aged Scotsman and his granddaughter on their way to her new boarding school in the Isles of Skye. The young girl had accidentally left her book behind, and the professor picked it up meaning to send it on to her. But then he looked inside and discovered it was no ordinary book. It was a school textbook on magic. Could it be real? Could it have actually been left by accident and found by chance? Or was it all an elaborate hoax played on the unsuspecting professor? Did he ever find the secret Isles of Skye School of Magick? Did he ever discover the hidden world of wizards and witches implied by the book's very existence? Or did they find him? The professor vanished soon afterwards, and the answers are unknown. Read the book and decide for yourself. Magical Wands: A Cornucopia of Wand Lore is that textbook from The Isles of Skye School of Magick. The first chapter begins with a basic overview of magic wands followed by an introduction to magical theory including the four planes of existence (Astral, Spectral, Physical, and Daemonic), the five metaphysical elementals (Quintessence, Air, Fire, Earth, and Water), and the three preternatural phases of Light, Twilight, and Darkness. It also contains sets of the commonly used spells associated with each of these elementals and phases. The first chapter then describes the different types of wands, their components, how they are crafted, and how they are used to cast spells. Chapter two teaches the 17 principles of wand making. Chapters three through six comprehensively cover the materials used to make magic wands including magical creatures (both beings and beasts), magical woods, mystical crystals, and mystical metals. Chapter seven documents 26 famous and infamous witches and wizards, their wands, and how well their wands suited their needs. Chapter eight concludes the textbook by nicely summarizing the contents of the entire textbook. Each of the chapters ends with student exercises, the answers of which are included in the back of the textbook which also includes a glossary, references, and afterword by the editor. If you have ever wondered what young witches and wizards actually study in their hidden magic schools, then this book is for you.

[Irresistible MC + Farming & Entrepreneurship + Strong Female Lead + Cute Baby + Love Rivalry + Farming System + Male Competition] Deng Yuyuan wakes up to find she has transmigrated into a period novel about a "pampered group darling" — as the biological mother of the vicious female villain. The female villain has a biased grandmother, a mooching uncle and his family, a blindly filial father, and a spineless mother. She was a small-time thief as a child. As an adult, she committed every kind of evil — constantly framing the female lead — and ultimately met a miserable end. The female lead is the only daughter in another family, doted on by her older brothers. The villain targeted her out of pure jealousy. And now, Deng Yuyuan has become that villain's cowardly mother — and the villain herself is currently just an ugly, wrinkly-faced infant. The blindly filial father loves his wife, but gives all the good things to his own mother. He says to his starving wife and daughter: "Xiao Yuan, come drink some water. I specially heated it for you." Deng Yuyuan looks at her own bony frame and her tiny child — and decides to get a divorce. Goodbye, useless husband. She's going to raise this little cub with an abundance of money and love. No way she'll go astray this time. Lost one husband, gained a crowd of suitors. A beautiful sent-down youth coveted by many — she knows some self-defense and burns the midnight oil studying. With the reinstatement of the college entrance exams, she takes her child toward a much wider world. Riding the wave of the times, Deng Yuyuan works her way up to become a gaming tycoon and a cutting-edge scientist... Except — why are so many men fighting to be her cub's stepfather?
