Douglas Bader was a remarkable figure. He was a British Royal Air Force (RAF) fighter pilot. Despite losing both his legs in a flying accident, he overcame this disability. He learned to walk with artificial legs and then rejoined the RAF. He showed great courage during World War II, shooting down many enemy planes. His tenacity and determination were an inspiration to his comrades and the people back home.

The flying accident was a crucial turning point in his life. It could have ended his career. But then his decision to learn to walk with artificial legs and his subsequent return to the RAF were significant events. During the war, his many successful dogfights against the enemy were key events that defined his role as a heroic pilot.

Since it's a fanfiction, Darthe Bader could be an entirely new entity. He might be a rogue agent, or someone with a personal vendetta against Padme or those associated with her. He could be a complex character with both good and bad qualities, but his actions of kidnapping Padme clearly put him in the role of an antagonist for the story.
