He harbors a deep, bone-deep hatred for Noah Valentine—or so he tells himself. To Liam, Noah is an ethereal distraction whose unapologetic sass and effortless grace are a constant provocation he can't ignore. When a "Cultural Exchange" forces them to swap roles, their mutual disdain is put to the ultimate test. Liam must trade his cleats for ballet slippers, while Noah is thrown into the violent chaos of the rugby field. Liam claims he’s only watching Noah to ensure his team’s legacy isn't tarnished. In the quiet of the dance studio, as Noah’s hands firmly guide Liam’s waist to fix his form, the "hatred" begins to look a lot like obsession. Liam has spent years building a wall of straight-edged perfection. Now, he must decide: uphold the reputation he’s spent a lifetime crafting, or lose it all for the one person he’s spent years despising.

Would you consider life to be a sum of all lively experiences or just the art of existing? Even if the existence itself was empty? Elyan was but a human who didn't know how to answer any of those. But humans can learn, they can grow, after all, they are alive. This is the tale of a man trying to get back up on his feet after everyone he knew left him to rot. This is a tale about trying to find meaning through the absence of life. A tale trying to explore death. This is a tale recalling the rise of Death Incarnate. *** Art by taekwonkim.
