The following are some common movements of the backhand technique in table tennis: 1. [Backhand Thrust: This is the basic skill of the backhand style.] During the systematic practice, you must pay attention to the starting point and high point of the opponent's return ball. It was fast and could quickly poke the opponent's diagonally, straight line, and two big corners in the game, creating opportunities for the next attack. 2. Backhand Pick: An older technique, suitable for the backspin ball that doesn't spin too much. You need to judge the rotation of the ball. It can be used with a short swing to attract the opponent to the near stage and create an opportunity for yourself to attack. 3. [Backhand short swing]: The return of the ball should be short. Try not to give the opponent a chance to attack. You must catch the ball when the return ball just bounced up and learn to borrow the opponent's strength to return the ball. It is often used in conjunction with picking and pulling. 4. [Backhand Pulling Rush]: This is the main attack method of the backhand. The main points of the movement are divided into four steps: lead, turn, head, and spread. It requires the cooperation of the entire body. 5. Backhand defense loop drive (for adult practice): The position of the forearm should be higher, and it can be used to receive the loop drive at the highest point. 6. Pulling Backspin (Laterhand Backhand): Slow dribble is the key. At the beginning, you have to find the drop point of the ball and dribble towards the navel or slightly to the left. You have to find the feeling of kicking your legs and hitting your hips in one go. 7. ** Backhand Quick Arching **: The basic requirement is that the position of the racquet should be lower than the fast play. The shape of the board should be bright and slightly forward. When hitting the ball, the wrist, arm, and fingers must exert force together. 8. ** Mid-stage pull (horizontal board backhand)**: Stand about one meter away from the stage, with your feet parallel or slightly forward with your left foot; lead the racket to the left side of your abdomen; press the board; support with your elbows outwards. At the beginning, when you hit the ball in the early stage of the descent, you should have the feeling of facing forward first when you swing. Your wrist, the inner side of your thumb, and your three or four fingers should work together. It is recommended to practice slashing first.
