Bruce Case Files
Bruce didn’t get chosen because he was brave, brilliant, or destined for greatness.
He got chosen because he was convenient.
Forty-two, unemployed, evicted, and surviving mostly on reruns of murder procedurals, Bruce is the kind of man whose life has already been canceled. Then an interdimensional broadcast system hijacks his apartment, declares him the lead of a new procedural series, and throws him into a murder case unfolding one floor above him.
The rules are simple: solve the case, keep the audience watching, and stay alive.
WHAT TO EXPECT
A slow-burn mystery with dark comedy, procedural investigation, and an intrusive progression system.
• A tired, reluctant protagonist who is more observant than heroic
• Murder cases that gradually connect to a larger mystery
• Dry banter, awkward situations, and occasional absurdity
• Progression mechanics tied to audience attention and production tokens
• A grounded modern setting with strange science-fiction elements layered in over time
• A story that starts small and steadily expands its scope
