a step into the past drama

" Startling Step by Step " was an ancient fantasy TV series adapted from Tong Hua's novel. The plot told the story of a modern girl, Marte Roxi, who traveled to the Qing Dynasty in the 18th century and had a relationship with the 14th prince. Marte Roxi found out that he was already married after transmigrating. His wife was the cousin of the 14th Prince, played by Zheng Jiaying. However, when she learned that her husband had a hereditary disease, she decided to leave him and seek her true destiny. During her adventures, she made friends with other members of the palace, including the eighth prince, the ninth prince, the tenth prince, and so on. She also gradually learned about the various conspiracies and struggles in the Qing court, as well as the complicated relationship between the struggle for the throne. At the climax of the plot, Marte Roxi finds herself embroiled in a political conspiracy and must do everything she can to protect herself and the other members of the court while searching for the truth and finally facing her true fate. The entire TV series showed the luxury and cruelty of the Qing Dynasty in an affectionate and delicate way, while also showing the complexity and variety of human nature.

There was no official second chapter for Startling Step, nor did it explicitly state that the storyline would travel to the modern world. The story was set in the Qing Dynasty, and it described the complicated relationship between the 14th Prince and Ruoxi, as well as the palace struggle between them. Thank you for answering my question.

The plot of the complete TV series is as follows: The TV series " Startling Step by Step " was a modern urban romance drama adapted from Tong Hua's novel of the same name. The drama described the emotional entanglement and political struggle between the modern girl Ruoxi and the 14th Prince after she traveled to the Qing Dynasty. In the drama, Ruoxi was told by her parents that she was the future empress when she was young. However, when she really traveled back to the Qing Dynasty, she found that she was not the real empress but a tool used for political struggles. Her encounter with the 14th Prince made her gradually fall in love with him, but his identity and political background made it impossible for them to be together. In the palace, Roxi faced various political struggles and palace conspiracies. She had to keep her sanity and rationality at all times while paying attention to her emotional life. The emotional entanglements between her and the Eighth Prince, the Ninth Prince, and the others were also a highlight of the drama. The whole story was full of suspense and reversal. As the story went deeper, the relationship between Ruoxi and the 14th Prince became more and more complicated. In the end, whether they could be together or whether they had their own happiness became the focus of the audience.

A big spoiler is a hidden secret about the protagonist's background that comes to light in a dramatic way. But discovering it on your own when reading would be much more exciting.

The appeal lies in its ability to transport you to a bygone era. You get to see different cultures and ways of life. Plus, it often has elements of mystery and discovery as you uncover the past along with the characters.

It's quite engaging. The story is rich and the characters are well-developed.

The 'A Step into the Past' novel is a fascinating story. It takes the reader on a journey through time. The main character is transported back to a different time period, perhaps ancient China or some other historical setting. There, he meets all sorts of characters, from nobles to commoners. He has to adapt to the ways of life in the past, which includes understanding the social hierarchy, the cultural norms, and the political situation. His experiences are filled with drama, mystery, and a touch of the supernatural as he tries to find his way back to his own time while also making a mark in the past.

I'm not sure which Korean drama you're referring to because I haven't watched it. However, generally speaking, the final ending of a TV series would usually be arranged according to the development of the plot, and it might not necessarily return to the modern era. If you have more information or background, I can provide you with a more detailed answer.

I recommend "Reincarnation from Joy of Life." Although it's not a costume drama, it can bring you another kind of transmigration experience. The novel was a novel about the infinite universe. The protagonist could travel through various popular TV series or novel worlds, including Joy of Life, Startling Step by Step, and so on. If you like novels with a costume style, this book will also bring you a lot of surprises. I hope you like my recommendation, Mwah~

China's first time-travel drama was Love Through Time and Space, which was broadcast in 2002.
