My favorite would be 'The Ugly Duckling'. It's such a heartwarming story of a little duckling that doesn't fit in at first but then discovers its true beauty as a swan. It teaches kids not to judge by appearances and that everyone has their own special journey of growth.
I'm quite fond of 'The Three Little Pigs'. It's full of great lessons. The pigs' different building choices and how they deal with the big bad wolf show the importance of hard work, planning and cleverness. It's also a very vivid story that kids can easily visualize, which makes it a great bedtime story.
I like 'The Little Red Riding Hood' from the top 100 bedtime stories. It's a classic with a simple yet engaging plot about a girl going to visit her grandmother and the encounter with the big bad wolf.

My favorite is the one where the little boy tried to teach his pet fish to do tricks. He would stand in front of the fish tank and wave his hands around, and the fish would just swim in circles.
