Looked interesting for a second until the princess kidnapping appeared... Sigh..........................................................................

LIKEWell, as of chapter 20, the synopsis doesn't even match the book and no princesses have appeared. The story is interesting, but I'd downgrade the novel just because the synopsis has nothing to do with the story. False Advertisement. Even if the book is better than the advertisement so far. Also, the MC is only abusing one World Law to survive and gain power and hasn't interacted with a System at all yet, except to look at his stats and the stats of others.
Is this not supposed to be a positive thing?

Nope. It is Webnovel being sneaky and copy/pasting a different story's synopsis, title, and cover image over a different story. It's no different from ripping the front/back cover off of a book and sticking it over another book's' front/back cover. They did this to avoid copyright claims or whatever it is because the actual story that they've posted here is the work of a different person, machine translated, Westernized, and published under the name of a different person, without any credit to the original author.
MikeN:IDK, I guess I just want the Author or Editors to write a better synopsis, so the book gets read by people that will like it, to make the book more popular so it gets picked.image
Thats kinda BS. I’m also guessing the author would never about this, and if he does, will he have the rights of copyright? I mean it’s China. 😥

Well, they can try, but Webnovel has probably delved into this field far longer than anyone here can imagine. They've been doing this for years, so they probably know where the boundary is. They change the characters' names, the story's name (Albeit slightly.), and give a brand new cover, but the content, plot, setting, characters, abilities, the pacing, everything about the story is the same as the original one. There's a fine line between plagiarism and "using it as reference / it gave me inspiration", and Webnovel is walking on that very fine line with a pair of scrubs for shoes (Brushing very hard on the line, making it blurry. Essentially means they're doing legal/illegal things at the same time, and it's hard to tell if it's worth taking to court, and web novel profits from it.)

What if the author stopped making chapters. That would punch webnovel in the guts.

They wouldn't they're underpaid authors that get paid based on the amount of words they upload to faloo. The more chapters and longer they are, the more cash they get. They wouldn't spot making money because some other company is also profiting off of their work.

🤔 Well just upload stuff to Amazon. This website won’t be able to do anything. Unless China doesn’t allow it then idk.

That would be true if the story is even remotely similar to the 'source material'. Unfortunately it looks like they ripped the summary and title from another story and made something up in its place. One clear indicator of this is that the system for hard work and dedication is ripped out and replaced by some simple cheat that steals from others.

That's what I said
