Wasn't there a random girl his sister was in the sect with being called Rong Rong?
What is with the common trope of big numbers good? 1000 meters is 1 kilometer. I get that they are cultivators with better senses, but to have a practice range longer than a kilometer is silly.

That feels like rule #5 of survival - Fear the loli
Unless you take the compounding rate of cultivation into account. Every increase in level increases the amount of cultivation energy is absorbed so someone at the 1st level will gain much less per day than someone at the 5th level. This rate is typically exponential in its increases. An example is leveling and XP gains in MMORPGs. At level 1 you might get a level every 1000 XP and every kill gives you 10 XP. At level 100 you get a level in 10,000,000,000 XP and every kill gives you 1 million XP. Which gives you more? 100 kills at level 1 or 100 kills at level 100?
"born after he died" sounds off given the context of the next sentences. "fell after he died" might be better
The novel starts out strong but very quickly devolves as scope creep gets introduced. The author seems to jump from major plot points and hand waves important events in between to only mention that it happens afterwards. Major characters in some story arcs are forgotten or retconned out of the plot in the next arc without correcting the previous arc which makes the story seem disjointed. Fun for a pick up, but something to quickly put down again.
...except the novel here is a modified adaptation of the original that does not follow the same plot...
If you want a specific time it would have started around when premium chapters were introduced. This is when they had to do a mass release of 50+ chapters to fill the premium catalog. As a result the content in those chapters got watered down instead of having constant progression. Also these chapters appear to be world building instead of expanding on what would otherwise happen in the game.
