there's no timer, it's just a Matter of how much chakra they have. To maintain their existence, shadow clones consume the chakra thay have, once it's used they disperse unless they're dispelled by the caster or recieve damage.

I have been reading this since it was posted on fanfiction.net and I can't explain how much I love this fic. IMO there should be a reading fic, where avengers from either AVENGERS ASSEMBLE or AVENGERS:EARTH'S MIGHTIEST HEROES read about the life of their MCU counterparts.
