"Save me, Ankuriboh!"

Yuji immediately discards Ankuriboh in his hand to The Graveyard at the speed of lightning.

A blue fur ball fairy with golden attachments, especially The Ankh symbol on its forehead, appears! It seems it was carrying something in its hands.

Dark Magician Girl surprised, "What is this?! What did you?!", asked her.

Yuji grins, "I simply activate Ankuriboh's effect", replied him.

The card that Ankuriboh held is falling to Yuji's side of the field, opening a portal where a white vanilla blob-like monster jumped from it.

"By discarding Ankuriboh from my hand, I special summon Marshmallon from The Graveyard in face-up defense position!"

What emerges on his field is Marshmallon who widened his eyes in confusion and surprise as it witnessing five powerful beams comes toward his position.

Marshamallon squinted his eyes looking at the impending attack, determined to stop it.

It then opens his mouth wide, swallowing the destructive beams like it was some sort of noodle.

"Marshmallon's effect. It can't be destroyed by battle", told him as he clenched his hand, smiling.

Dark Magician Girl pouting. Thanks to Marshmallon, Yuji's Life Points are saved for now, and any more attack would be useless as Marshmallon has the effect that it can't be destroyed by battle.

"Turn end!", declares her with a tone containing anger and frustration.

Yuji smiles wryly, he then shifted his gaze to Marshmallon.

"Due to Ankuriboh's effect, during the end phase Marshmallon is sent to The Graveyard", explained Yuji as Marshmallon on his field becoming transparent.

Next is his turn, but he felt a bit doubtful if he can win against Dark Magician Girl or not.

He didn't have any cards left in his hand, so the outcome of the duel rest on his next draw.

Yuji placed his fingers on the top of his deck, closing his eyes, then took a deep breath.

[Heart of the cards... answer my call!]

Yuji opens his eyes, gaze sharp as a katana.

"Draw!", he shouted.

This is his last chance. If he failed draws the key card, the next turn Dark Magician Girl play, he had a feeling he'll definitely lose.

"This is..."

He shifted his gaze from the newly drawn card to the monsters on Dark Magician Girl's side of the field.

Quintet Magician (LV.12)

Dark Magician (LV.7)

ATK/2500 DEF/2100

On her field there are two monsters, Quintet Magician with 4500 attack power, and Dark Magician with 2500 attack power.

Both monsters almost have the same degree of protection, one can not be affected by the opponent's card's effect, while the other one can't be destroyed by the opponent's card effect.

Plus there is still one set card on her field, unknown if it for supporting her spellcaster monsters or etc.

Yuji smiled wryly, he then shifted his gaze to the card he had drawn.

[Using this card is truly helpful, but... won't it also empower her?], asked him in his mind.

The corners of his mouth bend upward, [I'll deal with it later! Survival comes first!!]

"Dark Magician Girl!!!", Yuji shouted her name.

"If I win or lose this duel, can you help me to search for my friend!", said Yuji smiling and staring at her with clear glassy eyes full of conviction.

Dark Magician Girl surprised, "Your friend?! Um..."

Yuji smirks, "We've got an agreement!"

Dark Magician Girl hasn't said anything yet to the agreement, but Yuji already starts his move by showing a card to steal her attention.

"First off. I activate the spell card, Card of Sanctity! Both players draw until they have six cards in their hand!", told him.

Both Yuji and Dark Magician Girl draws six cards in the blink of an eye. With both of them smiles looking at their newly draws cards.

Yuji took a card and shows it to her, "By banishing 3 LIGHT and 3 DARK monsters, I special summon Chaos Dragon Levianeer!"

"Chaos monster?!", said Dark Magician Girl, truly surprised. She thought that Yuji using a tribute-based Dragon Deck rather than a Chaos deck.

She held her chin, trying to remember the previous turns.

Watapon, Odd-Eyes Dragon, Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon, Marshmallon, Krystal Dragon, Gorz The Emissary of Darkness, Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon, and finally Ankuriboh.

As she remembers it, she finally noticed that Yuji's monsters has either LIGHT or DARK attribute.

"The real theme of his deck is really CHAOS based theme!", whispers her as the corner of her mouth bend upward.

Yuji raised the monster card in his hand high as he began to chant.

"White Dragon of spiraling Chaos. Breakthrough the boundary where Light and Darkness intersect, and bring forth destruction to my enemy!"

In an unknown space, a majestic white dragon roared while flying toward the blackened sun.

"Come forth, Chaos Dragon Levianeer!"

The space behind Yuji shattered, breaking by the white dragon that emerges from it.

Yuji let out a sneer as the white dragon clenched its hands and roared to announced his arrival.

Chaos Dragon Levianeer (LV.8)

Dark Magician Girl stops breathing for one second, she was spellbound by Levianeer's appearance.

"Because I banished 3 LIGHT and 3 DARK monsters, Chaos Dragon Levianeer has the effect to destroy two cards on the field", said Yuji as he shows two fingers.

He continues, "The two cards I want to destroy are...", he took at glance at Dark Magician, "The trap card Eternal Soul and the set card beside it!"

Yuji directly pointing his finger to his dragon, "Do it, Unholy Wrath!!"

Chaos Dragon Levianeer's eyes gleaming intensely. It spreads its wings wide, and roared so loudly that the surrounding air and the ground where Yuji and Dark Magician Girl trembles.

A Pitch-black sphere emerges from heaven above surrounded by a white ring like halo, that slowly descend to Dark Magician Girl's side of the field.

Regaining her sense, Dark Magician Girl quickly revealed the set card.

"Like I let you! I reveal the set card, Chaos Scepter Blast!", shouts her.

She clenched her hand with smug expression, "If I control a Level 8 or higher spellcaster monster, banish one card on the field face down!"

Dark Magician Girl glanced at Chaos Dragon Levianeer, "The one that I want to banish is..."

Yuji slightly grits his teeth, he knows what card she wanted to banish.

"Chaos Dragon Levianeer!", declares her, pointing her index finger to the white dragon.

[If that's what you wanted, then...]

Yuji quickly activates the card from his hand, "I activate Quick-play spell card, Forbidden Chalice!"

He continues, "I boost Quintet Magician's attack by 400 attack"

Dark Magician Girl raised her eyebrow, "Huh? Why?!", asked her.

He replied, "In return, Quintet Magician's effect is negated until the end of this turn"

Dark Magician Girl still confused, but a second later she widened her eyes as she received a shocking revelation.

[Eternal Soul has the effect to destroy all monster that I control if it leaves the field!]

Not only that, Quintet Magician also has the effect it can't be destroyed by card effect.

Meaning, by negating its own effect, Eternal Soul can destroy Quintet Magician.

A figure clocked in shadow arrived at Dark Magician Girl's side of the field, it then extends his staff toward Chaos Dragon Levianeer, casting a magic circle beneath the dragon's feet which multiple hands made from shadow emerges from it, drowning the dragon to a realm even the caster didn't know about.

In contrast, the Pitch-black sphere surrounded by white halo arrived at Dark Magician Girl's field, swallowing every card and monsters like a black hole, sending them to an unknown dimension which only the white dragon know.

"It's not over yet!", said Dark Magician Girl as she waved her hand, "At this moment, I activate another effect of Chaos Scepter Blast!"

A portal appears on her field, where Magician of Black Chaos emerges arrogantly with his arms crossed.

Magician of Black Chaos (LV.8)

ATK/2800 DEF/2600

"Hmph...", Yuji narrowed his eyes watching his emergence with his arms crossed like the opposite Magician of Black Chaos.

"Set two cards", told him.

"Then, I activate the spell card Premature Burial! By paying eight hundred Life Points, I revive this dragon!"

His Life Points plummeted quickly, but Yuji didn't mind it. For defeating her, this is a small price to pay.

Yuji raised his right fist high, "Arrive in light, Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon!!!"

Formed by the clustering light particles, a Dragon with beautiful dual-colored eyes wearing stellar white and golden armor appears on Yuji's field.

Dark Magician Girl frowning, [He is going for a battle!], thinks her.

"Turn end!"

But to her surprise, Yuji declares the end of his turn.

"Why?"

Dark Magician Girl uttered a word, but quickly covered her mouth.

She truly expected Yuji would go for a battle, and later would activate one or two cards to destroy Magician of Black Chaos and deal damage to defeat her.

The corner of her mouth bend down, somehow she wanted to see what his next move kinda be.

"Eh?", She uttered a word, somehow... dueling him is more joyous than she previously imagined.

Don't take her wrong, the dangerous vibes Yuji gave off are still existed, and despite her antics, she is truly dueling him seriously.

It's just that... She was rather confused, confused by the joyous feeling while dueling him.

"What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?", asked him, smiling.

Dark Magician Girl pouted, "Hmph!", and then quickly draws a card.

She narrowed her eyes, "I don't know why you don't go for an attack, but let me tell you this: You missed a big chance to defeat me!"

"From my hand, I activate Magicalized Fusion! By banishing Magician of Black Chaos and Dark Magician, I fuse them together to summon a new monster!!"

She smirks, "Your deck maybe a CHAOS theme, but you lack the essential monsters!"

She continues, "Let me show you, the mighty vanguard of the CHAOS deck!"

Dark Magician Girl raised her hand high and begin to chant.

"The wonder of magic will unite the power of Light and Darkness! O, black knight that mastered the secret of Chaos, unsheathe your sword and bring me glory!!"

A vortex of white and black energy appears above her, which the two spellcasters swirls into its center.

"Fusion Summon!", she placed the fusion card.

A stream of yellow light emerges from the center of the vortex, it then landed on Dark Magician Girl's field, creating a thick gray smoke.

"Kneel before his might! Appear before us, Master of Chaos!!"

The smoke subsides, revealing a kneeling gallant and mighty Knight in black and golden lustrous armor.

Master of Chaos (LV.8)

"At this moment, if Master of Chaos is fusion summoned, I can special summon 1 LIGHT or DARK monster from The Graveyard", told her.

"The one that I would revive...", Dark Magician Girl let out a smirk, Yuji who knew who she wanted to resurrect is frowning.

"Is myself, Dark Magician Girl!", declares her.

Yuji squinted his eyes, [As I thought!]

"Come to my service, My Avatar!"

A blue pillar of light emerges from the ground to the sky above, transporting the legendary servant of The Duel King back to the battlefield.

Dark Magician Girl (LV.6)

ATK/2000 DEF/1700

"Trap activate, Bottomless Trap Hole!", Yuji waved his hand, revealing the set card.

"Ha?!", Dark Magician Girl's eyelid twitched. The moment Yuji activated the trap card, Dark Magician Girl (avatar) vanished into thin air, confused and shocked the real one.

Rather than vanished into thin air, there is a pitch-black portal that slowly closed on the ground where Dark Magician Girl (avatar) previously stood, which can be deducted that she fell to it rather than just vanished.

Yuji smirk, "Bottomless Trap Hole's effect. When my opponent summoned a monster with 1500 attack or more, destroy then banish the monster from the field", explained him.

"Kuh... to think you have this kind of card, I'll make sure you'll pay for that!!", exclaimed Dark Magician Girl, with moist eyes that almost cried.

"So... rry?", Yuji apologized as he tilted his head.

Rather than apology, the word Mockery is more suited for the way and tone he 'apologized' to her.

But rather than that, there is something bugging Dark Magician Girl off about Yuji's trap card.

"Ne... why didn't you activate the trap card the moment Master of Chaos is summoned?

If you do that, even though its effect still activated, isn't it better to get rid of Master of Chaos instead? I mean... its attack is higher than mine (avatar)", asked her.

Hearing her question, Yuji paused a bit while looking at the magic circle above, and after that he shifted his gaze toward her.

"Who knows? If there is a reason, then it just that... I wanted to defeat you with your strongest", told him.

"That's it?", asked her again.

Yuji nods, "That, and I wanted you to believe me"

Dark Magician Girl closed her eyes. Looking at her, he prayed that this time she can trust him.

"I equip Master of Chaos with Wonder Wand!".

Sadly, Dark Magician Girl still didn't fully trust him.

Looking at her who replied by continuing the duel and not replied if she can trust him made Yuji a little bit sad.

[In the end, it's still coming to this. Whatever... I've already decided, I decided to defeat her in this duel, and then make her believe me!]

Yuji let out a lively smile. No matter what she threw at him, he decided to face her with full power to win this duel and won her trust.

Besides, when else would he get a chance to fight and win against the legendary Dark Magician Girl if not now?

A wooden staff with red crystal and the face of a grumpy old man etched on the handle emerges from Master of Chaos' shadow

Master of Chaos, sheathes his sword, and then took the wand.

A crimson-blood aura rise from his body like a heavy smoke.

"Master of Chaos, attack Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon!", ordered her.

Master of Chaos raised his staff, then pointing it toward Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon, launching a spiraling wave of holy and black energy from it.

Dark Magician Girl clenched her hand, "With this, your life is over!"

Then continues by pointing her palm toward Yuji, "Wonder Chaos!!"

Hearing her declaration, Yuji snaps his fingers, "At this moment, I activate the trap card from The Graveyard"

Hearing his words made Dark Magician Girl stunned, "Activating trap card from The Graveyard?! But when did he have the time..."

Yuji narrowed his eyes, "This turn, I haven't used my normal summon yet. I set a monster, and then set two cards in the back rows"

-Turn 5-

"Activate The Quick-play spell, Dark Burning Magic! If I control both Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl, destroy all card the opponent control!"

Dark Magician Girl stunned, she realized it was then when Yuji first setting the card, and it was also her who destroyed it in the first place.

Before the attack strike Dark Magician, Yuji immediately revealed his hidden dagger.

"Trap Card, Skill Successor!"

Skill Successor, a trap card that can only boost the attack of a monster by 400, and 800 if this card is banished from The Graveyard.

It is just a trap that can be said neither good nor bad, a mediocre. Some modern duelists would criticize him that the card he uses is not very good.

But at this moment, this mediocre card would turn into the best card for him to strike back.

"By banishing this card, until the end of this turn, Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon gained an additional 800 attack!"

Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon (LV.7)

Dark Magician Girl bit her lips, "Kuhn! Does the attack exceed Master of Chaos?!"

Even so, she hasn't given up yet, "At this moment, I activate Quick-play spell Battle Fusion!!"

"That card!", Yuji widened his eyes, as the one who use an archetype specialized in fusion summoning, he knew very well the power of the spell card Battle Fusion.

"Too bad, but it's my victory!", exclaimed Dark Magician Girl proudly.

Master of Chaos (LV.8)

"Seven thousand... attack?!", told him, stunned.

Dark Magician Girl nods as she points her index finger to Yuji, "It's over! End it, Master of Chaos!"

Master of Chaos let out a battle cry, the spiraling wave become bigger that it's eventualy dwarfing Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon.

"Go!!!", yells her with all her might.

Watching her fiery expression made Yuji smiles.

He held his head high, and slowly closed his eyes, "You're an amazing duelist Dark Magician Girl, but..."

Yuji opens his eyes, his gaze changed into that of a wolf that tries to intimidate the other predator.

"No matter who is it. Monster, HERO, or even God! I'll crush them, and grasp the Victory!!", yells him as he waved his hand.

"Activate the Quick-play spell card, Concentrating Current! By adding Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon's defense, I can increase its attack even further!", explained him.

Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon (LV.7)

ATK/3600>5600 DEF/2000

Dark Magician Girl smiles, "Even so, Master of Chaos' attack is larger!"

She continues, "No matter if you increase its attack, your Life Points are 350. It's enough to end the duel!"

Hearing her declaration of victory, Yuji can't help but to let out a chuckle, "You sure about that?!"

"What?!", Dark Magician Girl uttered a simple word.

That 'You sure about that?' words made her frowning, she suddenly felt that her shoulder and head getting heavier, as if his words jinx her demise.

"At this moment, I activate Honest's effect from my hand!".

Yuji quickly discards the last card in his hand.

"By discarding Honest, the LIGHT attribute monster I control gained attack equal to the attack of the opposing monster"

The muscular angel appears above the field, with his eyes sternly focused on the dragon with dual-colored eyes.

The angel clasped his hand then turned into a stream of golden light that leaves glittering trails like a comet, it then hit the dragon and engulfing it in golden fiery aura like flame of the sun.

Rather of wounding it, the light from Honest strengthened the dragon instead by making its body twice as larger than the original size.

Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon (LV.7)

ATK/5600>12700 DEF/2000

"Twelve thousand... attack?!!", Dark Magician Girl stunned, she overlooked that there is still a card in Yuji's possession that he can still use to defeat her.

"Strike back, Stellar Flame Wave!!!", Yuji clenched his hand, then throw a punching gesture toward Master of Chaos.

With eyes full of bloodlust toward Master of Chaos, Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon gathers the golden energy in its mouth, then swings its neck like a pendulum before it fires off a radiant golden beam with white colored flame that spiraling it like a spear entwined by a serpent.

Dark Magician Girl grits her teeth, and points back at The Dragon with dual-colored eyes as she issues another command to her knight.

"Master of Chaos, Unleash your full power!!!"

The black knight grips the handle more tightly, and pouring his mana as to the extreme that it made the crystal etched on the staff cracked.

The two attacks collide, creating a thousand sparks like never ending fireworks.

Resist he will, but Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon's attack is so much bigger than the attack of Master of Chaos, that it easily eclipse the opposing energy wave with ease.

"No way..."

Dark Magician Girl watched the impending attack getting closer with sour expression.

With widened eyes, she watched as Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon burned her black knight 'Master of Chaos' with unrelenting force of energy. Leaving nothing, not even a pinch of ashes.

Looking at her empty field, Dark Magician Girl fall to her knee.

"I... lost...", whispered her.

Yuji who witness her expression, let out a soft smiles and whispers, "Thank you Dark Magician Girl, it was a Good Game"

Even though she is a Duel Monster Spirit, she... like everyone else have a heart of wonderful duelist.

The Magic circle disappears, along with the translucent curtain like veil. 

Yuji switches off his Duel Disk, and put his deck back to the deck holder holstered under his Slifer Red jacket. 

He let out a refreshing smile, satisfied about the duel because he won against Dark Magician Girl. 

In contrast to him, Dark Magician Girl kneeled with her head lowered with her expression obscured by the shadow. 

TAK. TAK. TAK.

Dark Magician Girl noticed a shadow approaching her, and slowly raised her head. 

"As in the agreement, you must help me search for my friend" 

Yuji extend his hand, reaching for Dark Magician Girl to take it. 

Dark Magician Girl closed her eyes. 

The magic she casted earlier before the duel, albeit it isn't a Shadow Game it is still has the power of binding vow or geass contained within it like the true Shadow Game. 

As an agreement. IF she won, Yuji'll spill everything that she asked. But the reality is that Yuji won, and she must help him to search for his friend. 

Helping search for a friend is easy, and she'll gladly help, as long the one who needs her help isn't an evil or dangerous person. 

Just being near him made her body shivers and have an urge to toss one's cookies. 

What if his friend is also a dangerous person like him? 

Yuji raised his eyebrows, kinda worried by looking at her. "What's wrong?" 

She gulped her saliva, and with a trembling hand she took his hand. 

Yuji narrows his eyes, he noticed that her hand is trembling. He sighs, but proceed gently to help her stand up. 

"You okay?", asked him. 

Dark Magician Girl replied by nodding, but her eyes didn't look into his eyes or figure, rather she look toward the surrounding view except Yuji. 

"Umm... as I said earlier I'm not your enemy, nor I'll endanger your life" 

[Precisely... the one who threatens someone's life the most is you!] 

Remarks him directly and in his mind. 

Yuji continues to speak, "Look... I don't know why you suddenly attacked me and shouts that I am dangerous, but I said AGAIN that I am NOT Dangerous and I swear upon my name I WON'T hurt you in any kind of form" 

Sadly, Dark Magician Girl didn't reply. 

He continues, "Think about it, did I attack or hit you the first time we've met?! Of course n-" 

"You attacked me in the duel earlier..." 

"Not...?" 

It was a good thing that Dark Magician Girl replied, but somehow about what she said made him very awkward. 

Dark Magician Girl pouted, she didn't reply to Yuji and just leisurely watch the surrounding view except him. 

Yuji pinched his nose bridge, he really wanted to curse her out loud. 

He continues, "Listen, Dark Magician Girl..." 

Just when Yuji still tries persuading her, the deck holder's strap slowly opens without him noticed. 

From his deck, one card slowly moving by its own, then drops itself from the holder and the deck. 

"... it- it was a duel, it didn't count! Besides, you're the one who attacked me first (not in the duel) and proposed the duel! So yeah... it didn't count, me attacking you didn't count" 

The card stealthy glide with move like a serpent without being noticed by Yuji and Dark Magician Girl as it passing them both. 

It slowly glides to positioning itself right behind Dark Magician Girl's head. 

"Look, we've got an agree-" 

When Yuji still speaking, Dark Magician Girl received an electrifying sensation from her brain, like it tries to warn her that something wicked is coming! 

"Hm? What is that?!", Yuji tilted his head, looking at an unknown object floating behind Dark Magician Girl. 

[Danger!!!!!!!!!] 

Dark Magician Girl quickly summoned her staff and turned back to face it. 

"Watch O-" 

SPLITCH! 

Alas, it was too late... 

Blood sprouted, staining the clothes and the ground as Dark Magician Girl fell helplessly. 

Yuji's breathing grow faster and faster with terrible rattling in his throat as he watches her fell on the dirty ground. 

With shocking eyes and chill filling his body, Yuji kneeled with a distorted expression. 

"Ugh..." 

Dark Magician Girl slowly opens her eyes, the blurry vision become clearer. 

"Hiik!", Her pupils shrank stunned by the sudden visceral scenery. Dark Magician Girl quickly wakes up to covers her mouth holding the urge to screams and puke, "No... No...", as she then slowly shakes her head watching in disbelieve. 

"Heh", Yuji smirks looking at her expression. 

He was glad that she's okay, he then shifted his gaze from her toward the black limb that pierced and bursting his chest open. 

It was too sudden! A black limb like tendril suddenly emerges from the pitch-black object like card with the intention to bring harm to Dark Magician Girl. 

Fortunately, Yuji who has a faster reaction manage to rescue her in time before it strike her. 

The black limb like tendril still  squiggling, and without a care for Yuji it forcefuly retracted itself from his chest, creating a big gaping hole in his body. 

"Koff!", Yuji spews out a mouthful of blood. 

Black dots keep appearing like a raindrop in his eyes, slowly obscuring his vision as he fall to the ground. 

With his last breath, he muttered his last word. 

"Dahkk... nit..."
