Proposal

I returned to the real world shortly after. Julean is still standing outside my room, and I apologized since I've been making her wait for so long. She got confused and told me that she's only been outside for five minutes.

I learned that the time didn't progress if I go to another dimension. That's awesome!

Julean also told me that she has to continue cleaning my room. So I let her. I decided to go to the living room. But when I'm about to enter, I heard a woman's voice from inside.

"Please accept my proposal,"

"!"

I widened my eyes and quickly hide behind the door. I peeked through the sidelines.

A beautiful young lady with brown hair is sitting across from Raphael. She just proposed to my brother out of the blue?!

I grinned.

This is amusing.

Raphael still looks composed.

"... Alright,"

"!"

He accepted it?!

The lady beamed. Her cheeks are bright red.

"You're spying on them?"

"Gah?!"

Edgar suddenly appeared behind me. Now the lady and Raphael caught me eavesdropping on them. The lady blushed and stood up abruptly. She bowed her head.

"G-Greetings, Young Master Ezra and Young Master Edgar,"

"Hello sister-in-law," Edgar replied casually.

"I-I," I was still speechless.

I forgot that my brothers has gotten older. It's time for them to get married, especially Raphael.

The thought of Raphael, Christopher, and the rest of my brothers going to get married and leave the house caused my skin to turned ice cold.

"Brother!"

I whined and ran toward Raphael. Everyone looked surprised.

I jumped on Raphael who's sitting on the sofa and buried my face on his chest. Raphael hugged me, feeling flustered by my sudden action. He must have been surprised because I never jump on him like this. I only jump on Christopher.

I sniffled. "I'm not ready to be an uncle!"

"Pfft-!" I heard Edgar snorted loudly.

The lady's red face turned even darker and she looked down to hide her embarrassment.

Raphael looked at me in a daze. Then he smiled amusingly with a tint of blush on his face.

"... You're ten already. Why are you acting like a five-year-old?"

I puffed my cheeks while furrowed my eyebrows. "Hmph!"

"Haha," Raphael chuckled softly and hugged me tightly.

To be honest, I feel embarrassed by acting this way. But I can't help it. I thought that I'm going to stay forever with my brothers. This realization made me sad all of a sudden.

I calmed down after a while. Edgar, the lady that's known as Lady Marivel Albers from a humble Baron family, Raphael and I started to have a small chat. Marivel told me how she met Raphael. She met him during a banquet, and that a lot of ladies are interested in him. She thought she won't have a chance, but she fell in love at first sight and gather the courage to propose to him face-to-face.

Apparently Raphael likes that bravery.

Raphael told me that the children of Conover could do whatever they want. Raphael as the oldest son, understood the responsibility. He's going to take over father's position and continue the descendants of the Conover family.

He's going to be a papa soon.

I sniffled again at the thought. Raphael comforted me again.

Not long after that Raphael escorted Marivel back to her house to meet with her parents.

I only sighed. Suddenly Arden's face popped in my mind.

Is he going to get married too?

These thoughts are irritating. Why should I care anyway...
