"Put him through," Blake said after composing himself. Archer patched the call through, and Blake took a deep breath before answering. "This is Blake speaking. How may I assist you, Mr. Mason?"
"Mr. King, I apologise for the abrupt call," Mason paused, his voice sounding stern and cold. It didn't sound like the words he said at all. "It is an honour to speak with someone as successful as you," he continued, still not getting to the point.
"Thank you, Mr. Mason, but please get to the point," Blake said, cutting him off. He didn't have time for pleasantries.
Mason cleared his throat. "Very well since you gladly accepted my call, I believe you know what I am going to ask. So, Mr. Blake, may I know the relationship you have with my wife that she found the need to call you without my knowledge?"
"Please, I don't know him I mistakenly dialled his number." Blake could hear Ivy's sobbing voice in the background, explaining to Mason.
