"Your Majesty, presenting Lady Vivienne Keller," announced the queen's butler before guiding her into the queen's drawing room.
"Your Majesty, my condolences to you and your family we are sorry for your loss." Vivienne said sadly mustering as much confidence as she could to hide her real intent that evening.
"Thank you my dear," muttered Queen Serina beneath her breath as she indicated the tea set laid out and the biscuit and tart trays.
"Do join me for tea," the queen encouraged her as she pointed at the chair next to hers.
Vivienne sat and placed her basket on the floor.
"What have you brought with you?" Queen Serina asked.
"Cinnamon and vanilla tea that I concocted myself Your Majesty."
"How lovely, we must have some." Queen Serina then ordered the ladies maid to retrieve the basket and serve its contents.
