Chapter 32: Aria Recovery and Suprise

"Good. Your fighting style gets better. However, you must also divide your focus on defense instead of going all out."

David looks at Reborn and nods his head. Just like his friends, he did not believe Reborn could train them, but after getting the largest bet in their lives, they decided to believe that Reborn could teach them how to fight and how to hunt.

And boy, Reborn is great at teaching. He is a slave driver who forces us to push our bodies to the limit. Even I need to push myself to the limit when he knows that I can control gravity. He demands that I increase the gravity around me, which also affects me every time we do some training.

The training is so intense that we get injured in the training. Sadly for us, he is someone who has Sun Flame, and what makes matters worse is that he is the best one at using that thing.

I look at my watch and do some calculations.

"The woman told us to meet her at four in the morning. That is around ten o'clock in this place. We will depart in a couple of hours and arrive at that place just after the sun goes down."

"I see. At least we can prepare."

I shake my head and say.

"You are too paranoid, Reborn. I don't think they will attack us."

"You never know."

Reborn becomes a mother hen when involving Aria or Uni–a paranoid mother hen who can kill you in a second.

"Fine. As long as you do not do anything that can break the alliance between my factions and the youkai, go ahead."

"Good. I will leave Aria in your hand while I prepare."

And he walks toward the underground facility where the portal between our worlds is connected. As for me? I return to my house, where I can see Aria, Uni, Valerie, and Gasper playing in the garden.

I walk toward them and see Valerie looking at me with a happy face.

"Vale! You are here!"

I laugh a little and pat her head.

"Yup. Just done with my daily training."

"How is it?"

I look at Aria and say.

"It is hard but very productive training."

She gives me an apologetic expression and says,

"Sorry about that. Sometimes, Reborn gets carried away in his so-called training. I will ask him to tone it down a bit."

"Don't worry about it. I don't mind his training. It is harsh training, but he knows when to stop and when to push us a little bit further. Don't worry."

"I see. I understand."

I smile at her and say.

"Anyway, I come here to inform you that we will depart in a couple of hours. Are you ready, Aria?"

"You can put them on later when we arrive at Kyoto."

She nodded, and I let her continue playing with the others. As for me, I walk to my office and take a bath. After cleaning myself, I dry my body and put on some clothes. While waiting for our departure, I decided to do some paperwork.

Because of the alliance between the Kyoto Youkai Faction and the Millefiore Family, many businesses from Japan want to open up in my territory. Not only that but with my new tech business with the help of Byakuran, my paperwork gets higher if not for the help of my guardians.

As the door opens, I can see Martha walk inside the door with a small stack of paper. I look at her with a small smile and say.

"You're just out of training, Martha. You did not need to push yourself too hard."

She gives me a kind smile and says,

"Don't worry, my lord. I enjoy this job. It is rather relaxing to tell you the truth."

I can only sigh fondly and say.

"Only you who enjoy paperwork, Martha."

"Fufufu~ It is what I like to do, my lord."

She might look like a kind person but has a hidden side. She is rather violent when you manage to step on her line. When you step on her line, she becomes a boxer champion, and you will be her punching bag.

When Aria sits in the middle of the circle, the elder nods her head and takes a deep breath. I can feel her release a massive amount of energy and start to pray.

"What a tragic battle! God's mercy illuminates the earth far and wide, even though all people should be equally blessed. If so, at least. At least, Let me pray. As far as my eyes can see. As far as my ears can hear. Let me at least. At least Bring less than one ten-thousandth mercy of God."

I blink a little when I hear that language. It sounds like Japanese, but at the same time, it does not. It is not Korean and Chinese, either. I know the two languages, but it is not them either.

I shake my head and hold Reborn down from the dash toward Aria, who looks like she is in pain as we watch the magic circle underneath her shine brightly. I can feel energy rushing inside her body. Her flame is flaring out of her body, but instead of fighting the energy, it is circling it and harmonizing it.

After a few minutes, the light disappears, and I can feel two energies inside Aria instead of one.

The elder walks toward her and touches her cheek briefly before saying.

"Y-You are now Senjutsu User."

Ah. Aria absorbs natural energy, harmonizes it, and is now a Senjutsu user.
