Chapter 91

I nodded and started to concentrate on my favorite jeans, green lace bra and panties, a light blue top, and my well-worn booths. Suddenly I was dressed in exactly what I had pictured. I hopped up and down clapping my hands. 

"I did it!"

Loki took me in his arms and spun me around in a circle. "That you did, my dear. You are picking this up fast. I do not doubt you will be able to do it without concentration very soon." 

I decided to try something. I concentrated on Loki being naked and his clothes going away. He sucked in a breath as his clothes vanished. His blue eyes wide, he looked at me.

"Did you remove my clothing, Ariane?"

I was worried since he rarely used my name. Hesitantly I nodded. "I'm sorry. I just wanted to try it since I was able to heal Thor. Please don't be mad."

"I am not mad, kitten. I am in awe. I have never seen power like that. To do it for yourself yes, but not for others. I wonder if it is limited to me for that as we share that same talent or if you can share with others. Can you make Thor and Barnes dressed as well."

I closed my eyes, and I pictured Thor in his usual leather armor outfit. Bucky was in his boots, jeans, and a blue T-shirt. I also imagined Loki in clothes suitable for where we are going. I had him in his Asgardian boots, cause you know, they're hot, as well as jeans, and a dark green T-shirt. I changed Thor to a similar outfit but with a red t-shirt instead since I hadn't thought of that when I chose his leather outfit.

I opened my eyes to find three sets of blue eyes staring at me. All of them were wearing the clothes I had pictured. I grinned, pleased with myself.

"That is amazing, Dollface. You forgot something though. Boxers would be nice. Jeans and commando for men can be rough."

I giggled and pictured boxers for all three men in their signature colors. 

"There. All fixed. So when we get to the beach, I can do the swimwear. Can we go now?"

"I think we are ready my pet. Hold on to me. You have not teleported before, and it can be disorienting. Thor, I am sorry. I do know you hate teleporting, but it is the best way to get where she wants to go."

Thor sighed. "I know. I am not happy but anything for Ari I will do."

Loki nodded. "Then everyone brace yourselves."

All of a sudden, the room disappeared and I saw strange colors for a moment. There was the sensation of moving while I wasn't moving, kinda like one of those moving walkways in the airports. Then the world around me steadied. Loki held me tight as Bucky, Thor, and I stumbled. 

"That was fun! We can go to the Tower like that right?" I looked up with a big smile.

"Yes kitten. If you wish."

I heard Thor and Bucky grumbling as they didn't enjoy it quite as much. I looked around. There was the ocean, just a few yards away. I heard the crying of pelicans and smelled the salt in the air. It was nearing sunset and the colors over the water were breathtaking. 

I walked towards the water, feeling Loki's arm slide away slowly. I stood at the edge of the water and willed my shoes away. I didn't want my boots wet. I took those last few steps and felt the water lap at my feet. Felt the tide push and pull the water onto the shore. I felt tears fall down my face. It was all overwhelming. Loki come up behind me and wrap his arms around me, holding me close to his chest. He rested his chin on my head.

"It's so beautiful Lokes. And so big. I never realized how big the ocean was." 

I felt his response rumble against my back. "Yes, my love. It is big. And the colors playing on the water are beautiful. But not as much as you. You, my sweet, are magnificent."

I turned in his arms and wrapped my arms around his neck. I looked up into his clear blue eyes and felt my heart fill with love for this man. He was my dark angel who showed me what love really was. I felt that if I had met him in my world, I still would've loved him with my whole heart. But I was glad I was here because I couldn't have stayed with him there and risk bringing him nothing but danger. But here, I can give him all my love freely.

I sent him the strong feeling of love I had for him, and I felt his arms tighten. This time he was ready for it and mentally he stood and was surrounded by it. His eyes were tender and a gentle smile on his lips as he lowered his head and gave me a very sweet, gentle kiss. It was perfect for that moment. As he pulled away, I threaded my hands through his hair. 

"I love you Loki. With all of me. This setting is magical but what makes it so amazing is that you're here with me. I know you can feel it, but I wanted you to hear the words too. I want you to know how much I love you in every way I can."

Loki leaned down again and gave me a deep kiss, his tongue stroking mine. "I can feel how much you love me. I do enjoy hearing the words but feeling how you feel means more to me. To know you trust me enough to let me into your mind and your heart." He skimmed his fingers over my cheek, and I leaned into his caress. "I have shielded you from the true extent of my love for you. I did not want to overwhelm you."

"Let me feel it now, wrapped in your arms, in this special place."

He nodded and I felt him slowly release the barrier he had kept most of his emotions behind. My eyes widened as I felt the sheer amount of love he had for me. It was powerful and selfless. How he would do anything for me, even die for me if I asked him to. I felt his love move through me, leaving warmth behind it. I pulled him down for another kiss, our love swirling around us.

"I will never part from you, Ariane. Even should you shut me out and leave me, I will never be far from you. With you, I am not a God. I am simply a man. And that is something so rare for me."
