Mo Rong's Protectiveness

Xing can also read people well thus she can tell these people are not like normal rich snobby heirs and heiresses thus decided to agree to meeting as she was free today, after all, it was her first day of school. Normally, she had things to do, assigned by her dad or 'jobs' she would take.

"Great! Star, lunch period is almost over, let's head back ok?" Xiu Ying said.

While Mingyu, Xing, and Xiu Ying were speaking, everyone had been sitting on the ground under the tree but once Xiu Ying mentioned the time, everyone realized it was time to go for the next period.

So everyone got up and got ready to go to the next period.

When they arrived at the cafeteria again, they all dispersed to their respective classes.

After school was over -

Once school was over, the boys and Xiu Ying waited at the front entrance when they saw Xing. They forgot to ask Xing for her number and thus had to wait for her at the entrance. Once they saw her, they waved for her to come over to them which she saw, nodded, and then walked over to them.

"Hey Star, before we forget, give us your WeChat scan code* so we can add you on WeChat! We have a group chat on WeChat so once we add you, you can join it!" Xiu Ying said excitedly

Xing nodded and took out her phone to show them her WeChat scan code. After exchanging WeChats and getting added to the group chat titled "silent except Mingyu" which was named this way since they don't talk a lot with Mingyu obviously being the exception since day one.

"Oh I have an idea, why don't you just come with us right now? Then we don't need to deal with the hassle of you coming back to my house" Xiu Ying suggested

What surprised the guys was that Xiu Ying was talking so much and enthusiastically like this because normally she is a more calm person and only chats a lot to Yang plus the fact she was so friendly when they just met today was not a usual sight to see. However the heirs also know that Xing is a good person and resembles them (excluding Mingyu) a lot.

"Ok, let me call my dad first" Xing said and grabbed her phone from her backpack to call Mo Rong

"Hello my lovely daughter! How come you called at this time?" Mo Rong asked

"Dad, I made some friends today and they are going over to one of their homes to do some martial arts training. Can I join them?" Star went straight to the point not leaving out details

"Hmm, my dear, what genders are your friends?" Mo Rong asked, not wanting his daughter be around boys whom he considered rascals who would try to take away his beloved daughter

"Uh its 3 guys and 1 girl, we are going to the girl's house by the way" Star said as if reading her dad's mind

"Oh...fine you can go but remember to come back soon!" Mo Rong reluctantly agreed

"Of course baba*, thanks and see you at dinner" Mo Xing said with a small smile

"Hm anytime my daughter, see you at dinner" Mo Rong said with a happy smile and mood then ended the call

What Mo Xing did not know at the time was that Mo Rong, worried for his daughter's safety, had his guards do a background check on the group of 4 to make sure they were not a danger to his daughter. Although his daughter was perfectly capable, as a father, how could he not be worried? His daughter at the end of the day was still a child (in his eyes but in a good way) and he should be given the right to protect his child no?

The other reason was that he was worried their enemies may be among the group or any other student who tries to befriend Mo Xing. He already almost lost his whole family with his wife in a coma…

At the same time Mo Xing got into the car with Xiu Ying and the guys rode in Yang's car to go to Xiu Ying's family mansion.

Within the 20 minutes while Xing and the others get to Xiu Ying's home -

"Sir, here is the information of the group with the young miss" Mo Rong's assistant Feng Lei.

"Hm, read it to me" Mo Rong said while dealing with some other paperwork that needed his attention

"There are five people in total. Xi Longwei, Wang Yang, Noah Cheng, Qin Mingyu, and Li Xiu Ying. The first four I named are guys while the last is the only girl in the group. They all hail from prestigious families here in China and it is said that Wang Yang and Li Xiu Ying are together. They are all heirs/heiress to their respective families' companies and do not seem to trust and mingle easily. However It also seems that their personalities with the Young Miss seems to be alike and because of the Miss's straightforward personality it makes sense they seem to be able to become friends. However it also seems that there are internal problems at least within the Wang family and that may lead to later conflicts."

Feng Lei said all the info they have gotten within the 20 minutes that might be of importance to the time as of now.

"Hmm the other three boys… from the Xi, Cheng, and Qin families, what are their reputations?" Mo Rong asked

Feng Wei was already prepared for this since they were boys without partners or obvious interests and given Mo Rong's protective personality, especially after the incident with the Madam.

"Sir, all of them seem clean by records and gossip however because they hail from their respective families it may be hard to confirm everything as of now. What is known is that Noah Cheng and Qin Mingyu seem to be more talkative than the rest while Xi Longwei is known to be the more quiet type. However they should be no harm to the Young Miss as of now though." Feng Lei reported what little there was left in the report.

"Hmm ok, keep an eye on them to make sure they won't do anything to my daughter. If anything happens the main priority is my daughter, disregard anything else, even if that means possibly offending the families because I have enough influence to cover that." Mo Rong said while still signing off paperworks

"Yes sir. I will go now sir if there is nothing else" Feng Lei said

"Hm" Mo Rong hummed while nodding, which was the the signal Feng Lei needed to leave

Back to Mo Xing and the others -

They all arrived at the Li Family Mansion and was welcomed by the staff at the front door.

"Welcome Young Miss and her guests" the family butler said while slightly bowing as a sign of respect to the future head of the family.

"Thanks! We will be going to the training room" Xiu Ying said, going inside the mansion with everyone else following behind.
