The Game's Start

The night was quiet except for a few cars roaring in the distends, a man who looked to be in his early 20s was walking home with a grocery bag. He had white hair and light blue eyes, he wore a red sweatshirt with a hoody and he had a pair of jeans that looked rough and worn out.

The last thing anyone would suspect happened, a loud buzz screeched throughout the world and with it, a burning sensation on the back of everyone's left hand, it lasted for at least 5 sec.

Buzz* Buzz* his left hand started to burn.

"ahh!... Damn that hurt, what the hell was that?" he almost knelt to the ground while he looked at his left hand, there was a weird mark on it. it had a circler shape with arches in the middle and its color was black.

"What is this?... huh?" *Crack!* he asked as the ground started to rumble and brake right beneath him, the cracks that formed beneath him had a black glow that shot up and engulfed him.

"Ah! Damn, What is going on?" he was thrown to the ground after he left the light, and when he looked at his surroundings, he was shocked, it was a very different place than where he was before.

"Is this...hell?" The world around him was definitely not earth. The sky was red, the land was barren and rocky, there were dead trees everywhere. He looked at the grocery bag in his hand, and then he heard a growl in the distance, he looked to see a vary starved dog that was walking closer to him.

"Ah shit, this is bad… wait a minute, that's right!" he reached into his pants and pulled out a handgun right when the dog picked up speed and jumped towards him. He dodged to the left and opined fired at the starved dog *Boom!* the dog flopped on the ground with a hole throw its head. The man plopped on the ground breathing heavily.

"Few, that was scary, thank god for gun rights and open carry states, and mom thought it was a bad idea to carry a loaded gun, ha." he said jokingly

"Huh, what is it now?" he noticed that his mark was glowing, he slowly touched it and a screen showed up.

"What the hell, Is this some kind of joke? Well, I don't think I'm dreaming, but it is a good thing to know that this is not hell, and all I have to do is to kill the boss so I can get out of here, right? So what is this?" he looked at the screen closely and the Mailbox button got his attention. He priest it and another screen appeared next to the first one.

"Wow, these skills seem grate but the 2x multiplier skill will disappear in 30 days, and this doesn't explain where the boss is or how to find it… wait, this is happening throughout the world, and I was the first? And I didn't go throw the portal on purpose, so it just happened to appear where I was!? I can't tell if I was lucky or unlucky." he hit the X buttons on both screens and got up and looked around.

"Well, I might as well start...huh, what happened to the dog corps? Did it disappear?" he walked over to where the corps was and found nothing, But he did spot where the dog came from and where his friends are.

"So, I'm guessing this is where I need to go." he spotted a small mountain in the distance, there were a couple of dogs wandering around in a panic on a cliff.

"Damn, they know I'm here and I only got 9 more bullets left and then I'm done for… or maybe I can work something out with this." he grabbed the grocery bag he had and pulled out a pack of hot dogs and some beef jerky, then he went towards the mountain.

"Alright, I hope this will distract them for a while so I can go kill the boss." he opened the packages of food and quietly placed them on the ground next to the cliff, he garbed a small rock and went behind a big dead tree that was close by. What he did not suspect was the dogs to come down on their own when they smelled the meat, there were 5 in total.

"well, Ok, now's the time to…" *HOWL* the starved dogs started to howl out of nowhere, and they didn't even touch the food.

"What the hell are they doing? Why aren't they eating it?" *Growl* a vary low growl came from the top of the cliff, a bigger and less starved version of the other dogs came out from the cliff. This was definitely the boss of the dungeon.

"Damn, I don't think I can kill them all, should I just fire at the big one? All I have to do is kill the boss, right?" he hesitated but pulled the gun out anyway. He took a deep breath and exhaled when he fired, Boom!* the first shot skinned the back of the boss. The boss and the rest of the dogs jumped, and they started to look around to see where it came from. Boom!* the second shot hit the body of the boss, but this also alerted the rest of the dogs to his position, and they started to sprint at him.

"Shit! this is bad, common, common!" he said as he shot the third round. This one hit the body again but it still wasn't enough to bring him down. The other dogs were getting closer and the boss knew he was the target, so he started to limp towards cover. One of the dogs got too close for comfort so he shot the fourth round and killed it.

"Damn!" he started to unload bullets toward the boss at random Boom* Boom* Boom* the big dog plopped on the ground, and finally a message appeared in front of him.

"Finally!" he hit the yes button without hesitation and the black light from before started to engulf him, but it was too late, one of the dogs bit his right leg, and blood shot out from the cut skin.

"Arrrg!" all he could do was grit his teeth in pain and wait for the light to take him back. All though it was only for about one second, it felt like hours to him when he looked at the dog biting his skin. the next thing he new, he was right where he came from, but this time he had a bleeding leg, and a mark on his left hand.
