"Why do you keep on trying to protect him even when you know you can't defeat me?" asked Lyra with a frown as she regarded Maria.

"He and him," she pointed at me and Laren, "are my property until the exam ends, and anything happening to them would mean me failing the exams. Or don't you understand my dilemma?" said Maria, with amusement trailing in her voice.

For some reason, she looks happy calling us her property—talk about a psycho.

But that was an aside case; I have now finally decided how to deal with this freaking bitch, Lyra. Knowing her character in the game, she would never let me be. She would always hunt me, and that leaves me no choice. I… will have to break her.
