CHAPTER 89: Be Strong All Of You

When Saphira woke up the next day and was called to dine with the imperial family, her lips couldn't help but to twitch.

Reginald had been side glancing her as if he was wronged about something that is connected to her.

Though she really has no idea what it was.

She was no longer shock though, that she was in the castle after she had succumbed to sleep the night before.

She felt Hunter's presence after all.

That is why she can easily let go and fall asleep.

She was simply too tired.

And in reality when she dined with teh Imperial family, it was already noon.

She had slept all through out from evening till noon.

She actually felt embarrassed about that.

If this was her place then she wouldn't feel that way but this is the castle.

Of all places, it has to be the castle where she oversleeps.

Even though she was tired, that is not an excuse.

In the past she would still wake up on time for the sun to rise but it seems just like Scorpius Empire, she was just dead tired.

"Don't think too much about over sleeping. It was us who tasked the servants not to wake you up. You have done so much in the past months that your body needs to recover."

Felissa noticed her look and told her.

Saphira could only smile in return.

Reginald finally stopped looking at her and cleared his throat, "Anyway..."

They looked at him.

"I have heard it is time for your departure?" he asked.

Saphira nodded her head, "Yes, your majesty. We have done all preparations in this place. The weapons we needed are also with us already. It is time for us to really start cleaning up."

Felissa and Gideon heard this for the first time and could only react with an 'oh'.

"Have you been in peace, your majesty?" Saphira asked Felissa.

Felissa was confused at first before she giggled, "Oh very peaceful."

Ever since their talk and she started simply ignoring her family.

They started getting impatient but then Saphira did things left and right that they couldn't say anything more other than her being the sister of the traitor.

She was strong.

Not simply with sword but with her abilities as well.

She had done splendidly in her duty of training her squad and leading them as well.

She had done splendidly in taking care of the Empire while she was here.

Defeating demonic beasts left and right.

Cleaning up more than what the knights had cleaned up in a year.

What more can they complain about?

Even some knights and people were looking at her in awe that the number of those who mocked her were lessened quite a lot.

"I am so happy I listened to you and didn't think too much about it," Felissa added.

Saphira smiled, "I am happy to be of help your majesty."

Gideon looked at his mother with wonder while Reginald looked at Saphira with a wronged look once again.

Saphira could only laugh in her head.

"Don't worry, I really am fine," Felissa said to Gideon and he could only nod.

As long as his mother is fine then he won't ask anything.

"Have you told the rest?" Reginald asked this time.

"They are well aware, your majesty. They have already spoken with their families about it," she answered respectfully.

Reginald couldn't help but sigh, "It will be quiet around here again."

Saphira could just smile before continuing her food.

She was giving him trouble left and right, of course the quiet that he was talking about was peace on his side.

Their departure this time wasn't as celebratory as it was when they arrived.

Instead it was quiet because they are leaving at the dead of the night.

Their parents and the heads were the only ones who are seeing them off.

Together with the knights on duty.

"Be extra careful. No matter what, you all must return with your lives intact. With all your limbs connected," Reginald instructed them.

"Yes, your majesty."

Soon they went to their families and bid them goodbye.

"It didn't even take you a year of staying here," Carmilla complained.

Saphira chuckled, "I'm sorry mother, we will surely return and by then we would be staying longer."

"Oh I really am going to miss you. Send letters, do you understand?" Carmilla hugged her tight.

"I will surely send you letters," she replied.

Archie was staring at her before sighing, "You never did anything wrong. You have to always keep that in mind. No matter what, everything was the fault of darkness."

Saphira looked confused before she realized what he meant when she looked at his and Carmilla's eyes.

"You told them," she complained instantly to Asherton.

"We have the right to know and to understand more of your pain," Carmilla interrupted giving her another hug.

"I..."

"It was the darkness," Archie followed hugging both mother and child.

Saphira sighed in defeat, "I'm sorry."

"There is nothing for you to apoplogize about. Nothing at all and just always remember. We will always stand by your side," Archie replied.

She noddded her head and hugged them even tighter.

Afterwards, she walked over to Asherton.

Asherton raised his arms for a hug with a grin.

But Saphira kicked him on his shin.

"Hey, how can you do that to your grandfather," he instantly complained while sitting down.

"Because you are a blabbermouth," she glared at him.

She finally understand why her parents never tried to get her close with the Alphius couple again.

They already knew it kept reminding her of the tragedy of the past.

Being involved with the family of those who died back then will just keep on hurting her.

"That is my love for you," Asherton pouted standing up.

"Thank you grandfather, we shall depart now," she chuckled and gave him a hug.

"Be careful," he replied hugging her back.

The rest were done with their goodbyes as well.

All seven of them rode their horses to leave.

"Be strong all of you," Reginald told them.

Saphira's eyes shifted before she answered together with the rest.

"Yes, your majesty."
