CHAPTER 86: I Told You To SHUT UP

"That's not the reason why Saphira asked for this challenge right?" Hedley slowly said.

"It's.... not?" Kyne was aunsure and Scott was looking the same way.

"Impossible, she barely interacted with Lancelot, how would she know he was being jealous of her?" Hedley added seeing the uncertainty in his friend's faces.

*BOOM*

All of their attention was taken by the explosion coming from the center of the training ground.

Lancelot's wind and Saphira's fire went against one another and exploded.

Most knights have retreated already.

This is far more different than when she battled the other three generals.

It seems that when they heard that both of them will not hold back, they are seriously fighting like a life and death situation.

"You are jealous of me I can see that clearly," Saphira started in the middle of their battle.

Lancelot scoffed, "Don't get your achievements up in your head. Who do you think you are to think that I am jealous of you?"

"I never said you are jealous of me basing on my strength," she replied with a laugh.

This irritated Lancelot that he used tornado in attacking her.

"Hey, hey, isn't this a bit too much now?" Hedley couldn't help but say.

The three of them readied themselves in case the battle would really go out of hand.

"It is the attention isn't it? I can feel your dagger like stares whenever I am being called for an audience by the heads," she continued provoking him even more.

"Shut up," he growled.

Saphira shook her head as she used her sword to defend herself from the wind boomerangs.

Of course, she couldn't really shield herself from all of it causing a few wounds on herself.

"I hit it didn't I sir? Coming to lend me your barrier, I can somehow see that it was Stormie's father who asked you to do it," she continued.

"Shut up."

He spoke in gritted teeth.

"Too bad, your jealous of something I really didn't want to have."

He became distracted by her sudden words allowing her to close in their gap and hit his stomach with the hilt of her sword.

"I never wanted it but they think that I am a ticking bomb that they keep their eyes on me. Do you want such attention sir?"

"I told you to SHUT UP!!!"

He rushed forward with his sword on one hand and wind on another.

Saphira jumped up avoiding his sword attack. She then used her fire to propel her to the side escaping his boomerang.

'It really is difficult when someone is in rage,' she thought.

And for the second time realized just how lacking she is still.

She shot down some fire balls exploding around Lancelot.

"Sa-"

Hedley tried to shout but thought it would be inappropriate.

But the wind boomerang that went past her a while ago was now on its way back behind her.

Yet it seems that Saphira was aware of this that she dodged up using her fire and then added fire to the wind boomerang before giving it a push towards Lancelot.

This combined attack ended up landing on Lancelot with him being engulfed by fire.

The people around had their breaths stopped at how marvelous she had executed it.

Using the fireballs as destruction.

And knowing that the boomerang will return, she added her own fire.

This fire is stronger than the wind that the attack ended up being her own.

Now with sharper movement, the attack returned to Lancelot and the fire engulfing him instead.

He could only shout at the pain of the fire but he can also see that he wasn't being burned.

He had heard of it of course, that she could control it this much but seeing is far different.

The hotness was there, as compared to Hedley whose hotness will lessen, hers didn't.

It retained its hotness without burning anything.

While being engulfed by it he felt lighter and somehow understood that no matter how jealous he is.

He can never compare to the amount she had placed in training herself.

He can see it with all her attacks.

He somehow finally accepted this fact, much easier than he had thought.

He knew how stubborn he is, he would still look for excuses in justifying his jealousy and his strength compared to hers.

But right now, he was actually accepting it.

He was left sitting on the ground after the fire had dissipated.

Saphira walked over to him before sitting down in front of him.

"They watch me closely because they think I will go insane if they don't look after me. I wonder why you would be jealous of that when all I felt was constriction?"

He can see in her eyes that she really was tired of it.

He harrumphed still and looked away.

Saphira chuckled, "But well I hope these little words of mine had allowed you to understand that there is no point in being jealous of me, sir."

She stood up just as wind blew by.

"I am instead jealous of the time you could spend with the one you adore. Being able to watch them from afar and close by is an opportunity not everyone could have. I really am jealous of that sir," she looked down at him and smiled.

"Saphira!! Geez, do you plan to kill us?" Nixon complained the moment they got close.

Saphira just laughed as she was nagged by her friends.

"Are you okay?" Hedley and the other two walked over and asked him.

Lancelot laughed in defeat, "She really is one hell of a person. I think you can see now why she had asked for this challenge."

The other three nodded their heads, "How can we not when she spoke with you more than when she battled the three of us together. It is very obvious she just wanted to challenge you alone."

Lancelot shook his head, "And I really lost through and through."
