CHAPTER 252: This Is Not Fine At All

"She's pulverized already."

Saphira who had been silently thinking on her own snapped out of it when Willow spoke beside her.

She knew Willow was referring to Elizabeth because Saphira was simply silently looking at her.

"Oh was my eyes dagger like just now?" she asked while tilting her head to the side.

She looks innocent but her words say otherwise.

"If not, maybe needle like? As if you want to poke her with the smallest of things in order to torture her more?" Willow replied.

"Then I guess I must really be exuding evilness right now. Do you think she could feel it?" Saphira asked in return.

Both of them returned their look at Elizabeth, who remained seated beside Hunter.

After being reprimanded by Saphira and being slapped by her, the already meek her became even more meek to the point that she looked pitiful at this moment.

One look and people would think that she was wronged and bullied.

"I don't know, she seems oblivious or maybe she was simply ignoring it? Why not get close and glare at her closer?" Willow replied.

"Then what about simply sitting in between them and look at her while holding him? Would the Emperor of this kingdom attack me then?"

"Hmmmm maybe, she seems to be a precious daughter after all."

"I should call our Emperor then, I can give him a heads up that I might cause more trouble in here."

"That would be a good choice, then you can openly torture her."

"Or I can simply burn this kingdom down?"

"I can help you cover it up by growing more plants in order to lessen the evidence of your fire."

Drake, Felix, Ridge, Nixon and Stormie looked at the two of them agape.

They were speaking openly as if what they were talking about was not some dark things at all.

Seeing their look, Saphira laughed before sighing, she dawned another mug of juice.

Ever since she stopped wanting beer because of what happened to Hydra Kingdom, juice or milk was her best choice whenever she was outside.

Juice could be made from the fruits around them and so it was their usual drink.

She sighed after tasting the sweetness coming from this, it was sweet but she could also taste bitterness from her own feelings.

"She lost her memory, she is meek, she looks like a little rabbit that needs to be watched over no matter what or she would suddenly die. I never thought I would feel this way at all," she finally said.

"I never thought I would actually reach this point though. I was so focused on so many things and was relaxed regarding the matter of heart but suddenly a twist I didn't expect happened and now I am confused of so many things."

"Why can't you tell him then? That you are jealous," Stormie asked her.

Of course they all know what she was referring to with the confusion she had just said.

They are aware of the emotions that she had been exuding all this time.

They are the watchers after all, so why wouldn't they understand?

Saphira shook her head, "It's unpleasant, if I approach him this way I would surely lash out at him. That is something I really don't like though."

After drinking another mug, she stretched only to frown in discomfort.

"Hey, be careful with your movement, you do know your wound is quite big and deep," Nixon instantly said.

The rest looked worried.

Saphira smiled, "I'm fine. I just forgot a bit because of how high my pain tolerance is. A rest and surely it will be fine."

"This is not fine at all," Stormie exclaimed seeing the blood in her back.

Even though they are aware of what had happened to Saphira, it was still a shock to see the red color in her clothes.

Knowing that she had placed a bandage, together with her clothes, for blood to actually seep through meant that it was really a very big and deep one.

Nixon clicked his tongue, "You seriously..."

It stretched to the point that it was bleeding again.

"Saphira, just how come your pain tolerance reached the point where you could not even feel the pain of that wound being there. Only showing such discomfort when it is already bleeding too much?" Ridge said with worry.

"My injuries back then on that island were too severe but I was forced to keep going as if they weren't there. I had to try and forget about it because I have to move. I guess that caused my tolerance to become so high."

They thought about it and remembered that she was three months in a coma because of her injuries.

When they got the chance to see her then, she was covered with nothing but bandages.

They were silent after listening to this, there is nothing they could do about that right?

"I'll go and rest then. I've drank enough juice and showed my face enough," she stood up.

It was only because they were on a celebratory mode, even though there was a bit of a commotion due to Elizabeth's mistake, the night was still filled with celebratory air.

Winning such a battle with their number was an achievement these people would never imagine they would be able to stay alive and even win.

Though they are very much thankful towards Saphira's group, being one of the first to battle against the dark force and not only the demonic beasts, is an achievement they will carry for as long as they live.

"Saphira."

She turned when her name was called.

Somehow Hunter had walked over to their side and behind him Elizabeth followed.

Hunter had been thinking all this time, what happened to her during the battle and her attitude over the past weeks that they were travelling.

Her irritation was obviously not only about her lacking rest, there was something else.

And it seems the rest have noticed it but he couldn't.
