CHAPTER 213: It Is Quite Bright

"Are you busy?"

The seven of them stopped walking out of the palace gates when someone spoke behind them.

Looking back it was none other than Raizen.

Saphira shurgged and continued walking, the others followed.

They knew who he was talking to and they have no plans for today, Willow can speak with him.

They have noticed the shock look on each of their faces when they entered the hall and so the sic of them actually felt like laughing that the two didn't really speak about their real identities to one another despite going out and hanging around for a while now.

"I think I am hungry," Willow told him.

Raizen smiled, "Then shall we have some lunch?"

She nodded and they went towards the nearest restaurant.

People were looking at the two of them.

"I forgot that I was still wearing my uniform," Willow sighed.

Plus the way they arrived in the palace wasn't a simple one, it was normal that the whole kingdom will know that they were indeed the platinum knights.

"Come to think of it..."

Willow started after they sat down.

"I did notice that we were being looked at before. Though I thought it was still due to me but seeing all their shock looks now, they didn't know who I was..."

She looked at Raizen, "It was because of you, wasn't it?"

Raizen laughed a bit, "I guess so, they knew me as a captain after all. Well for the reason they were looking is because of a different story."

"Oh, what could that be?" Willow asked leaning forward.

"I never had a lady beside me before."

Willow glanced to the side to hide her embarrassment before leaning back on her chair.

"No wonder I did feel some resentful looks," she chuckled.

Raizen chuckled, "But I am amazed, all seven of you are seriously way out of our league."

Willow's smile dropped as she looked at him after hearing his words.

"No, don't misunderstand. What I mean is, the way you all act isn't what we all thought you should have. You're humble to the point that people wouldn't even realize just who you are until the last moment."

"Well, our commander was our model. So we ended up being like this..."

Sadness appeared in her eyes, "But sometimes it is also difficult to have this character."

"Why?" he asked seriously.

"Because people tend to see us as some pushover people even looking down at us."

Raizen listened, he has no say to this, even if he was looked down upon before. That was only because of his humble origin.

It was entirely different to what they are experiencing.

"But, our commander wasn't a pushover," Willow laughed.

"Oh..."

"She knows when to get mad. People needs to look out for such a thing. Saphira doesn't get mad so easy but when she does, then she would be the deadliest and scariest one..."

Raizen looked at her affectionately.

Willow looked straight in his eyes, "That is why we can be as free as much as being humble. Because we have someone who has us under her wing. And that wing was big and strong."

They may not have been vocal of it, but Saphira was no longer just receiving their respect.

She receives their thanks, their love, their hope.

She was a person they could look up to and trust with all their hearts.

That is the greatest change that had happened within them especially after what happened in Draco Empire.

Where she had declared that she can be the villain for all of them if they are to be bullied.

"I see, that you all must love your commander," Raizen spoke seeing her looking all happy speaking about it.

"Yeah even though our relationships doesn't really show it. But all of us cares and trusts her more than the rest."

The two spoke more about other things and felt even more closer because they knew more things about one another.

Willow didn't stay too long with him for she still needs to train more.

Raizen didn't linger and returend to train himself.

In the end, the two of them were actually influencing one another in a positive way.

"Her eyes..."

When Raizen sent Willow back to the inn, Drake and Ridge were just returning as well.

Ridge spoke making Drake to look at him.

"It is quite bright," Ridge finished.

"Indeed," Drake replied.

"Aren't you jealous?" Ridge asked afterwards.

Drake furrowed his brows, "First you asked me if I were not mad. Now you are asking me if I am not jealous. Why?"

Ridge shrugged but looked at him saying he knew why Ridge was asking it.

Drake sighed, "I don't have that right when I didn't do anything for her."

Ridge blinked.

"All this time, I was the one receiving her affection, I barely showed mine so who am I to be jealous?"

"I... see..."

Ridge didn't expect his answer.

"Then is it that time already?"

"Time for what?"

"To speak with him and say that he should take care of her and not make her cry."

Drake shook his head with a laugh before he started walking towards the inn.

"Even that is something I have no right of. I made her experience so many negative feelings, what right do I have to say to another that he should take care of her? Or that he shouldn't make her cry? When she can smile like that while being with him."

Ridge whistled, "You're right. I'll no longer ask then."

As they returned to the room for a bit of rest, they found Nixon by the window with a frown on his face.

Walking over, the window was facing the open area.

Willow was already on one side and on the other were two other people.

Stormie and Felix were doing some kind of training.

"They really have become close," Ridge commented.

Felix have arrived an hour after they left the palace and he and Stormie started doing some training after another half an hour.
