Stormie had her hands up, "It is not my fault plus we met that man once before he lent me his help."
They were now inside the room for the three of them, Willow, Stormie and Saphira.
Willow was lying down on bed with a blaket over her.
Stormie was standing by the window while the three guys are looking at her as if she had done something wrong.
"You trusted him too easily?" Nixon was the one who asked.
"Not that easily, but I stared straight in his eyes and I knew that he wasn't a bad guy," she replied.
"Everyone for you is not a bad guy," Nixon rebuked.
"How dare you, I know how to tell people apart," she instantly flared up.
"As if," Nixon rolled his eyes.
"You- I was so apologetic for how I treated you that I didn't try to point out anything but do you think I have nothing negative to say?"
"Go on and say it, I bet-"
"Enough!!" Drake snapped at them.
It seems that after just a few days, Nixon has calmed down and was now talking normally at Stormie again.
Normally, meaning fighting like a cat and dog.
And that also means a lot of headache for the others.
Some serious talk would end up going astray if these two started arguing with one another.
"What do you know about him?" he then asked Stormie.
Stormie shook her head, "Nothing other than his name. We bumped into him early this day and then we met him again this afternoon."
"I know you are strong but you have to be careful with the people you are meeting for the first time," he reminded her.
"I know," Stormie replied.
She really knows, she wasn't that naive one who would belive just anyone who looks kind.
"But I seriously could tell that he isn't that bad of a person," she added.
Drake sighed and at this moment, Saphira opened the door, behind her was Hunter, who was about to get to the room next door, only to see the rest of them in this room.
"What is going on?" Saphira asked.
"Well..."
Stormie told her the story of the events today.
"Well, I guess if Stormie is confident enough to say that he was a kind person then surely he is a kind one. Let's leave it at that. I want to rest," Saphira told them.
She wasn't being nonchalant but it was simply because Stormie rarely has confidence in people. And when she do have one, it means it was the truth.
Plus the only person they had misjudged all this time was the three people in the elite squad.
Having heard her words, the three men could only let it go, they bid them goodnight and left but not until Saphira told them that they'll have a meeting the next day, so that they won't go out on the morning.
"Thank you Saphira, I really have no idea just how to get them understand that I wasn't simply being too accepting to people," Stormie told her as theyw ashed up and went to bed as well.
Saphira nodded, "But still, this is a new kingdom, it is better that we be careful. I just know you won't put your life and Willow's life at risk with your judgement to people."
Stormie readily agreed.
"How was your visit to the palace by the way?" Stormie asked this time.
Saphira shook her head before she recounted to her of what had happened.
The same thing was going on with the boys in the next room.
"So that was what was going on in her mind all this time," Ridge sighed.
They were not sure as to how Saphira was taking these things in, she indeed got seriously mad but after that she haven't spoken about the incident again.
As if it had just disappeared from her thoughts.
But who would have though that she would actually dare to call all the leaders and complain to all of them.
Adding to the fact that Reginald had spoken up as well.
"But..."
Ridge though for a bit before raising a question.
"Why does it feels like the way she spoke of those words, she would have been crying already."
"That's right, Saphira have not cried ever since we reunited. The last time would be when she woke up from her coma back then. After that no matter what insults or pain she receive, she does not react at all."
They looked at Hunter for answers.
To which he shook his head, "I think at some point she lost the capability to cry. I also had no idea of the specifics, she hiding so many things after all. But towards the answers I received from her in the past, I got the conjecture that she indeed, couldn't cry at her own will."
The atmosphere seriously turned gloomy at the mention of this.
"This just shows that she was carrying more than what we all think she has. That is why, I genuinely happy that all of you changed your perceptions towards her," Hunter spoke staring straight at their eyes.
Nixon scratched the back of his head, "If we remained hostile towards her obviously, you would have beaten us black and blue already."
Hunter chuckled, "I just have my bottom line that's all."
Drake remembered how he was beaten back when theyt just reunited. He had seriously made Hunter mad because of his actions.
But if he were to look back, he himself would have hit his old self.
Saphira was a one of a kind person, never gets back at you for how you treats her.
Instead she acts the same way, at the same time, still holding you dear.
Towards such a person, how could he hate her to the point of wishing her gone?
And as a repeat, she was Raynisha and Raynisha was not her.
All along she had been speaking of these words, almost begging them not to hate her for her sister.
But he still acted that way.
He really is an embarrassment.
