Meanwhile, as things were unfolding in the palace the way they did, Willow and Stormie also encountered something else.
"The plaza seems lively," Stormie pointed at the center of the town.
"It seems there is some kind of festivity today," Willow commented.
"Let's goa dn see," Stormie pulled her along.
It wasn't always that they would see such a peaceful scene.
It's either they would simply pass by an empire or kingdom or the others would be too chaotic to have such a thing to happen.
"It seems to be an open market of some sort," Stormie said loking at all the stalls that are opened around the plaza.
It is either a food stall or a day to day thing.
The two smiled at one another before they started checking the stalls, wanting to eat the things that they have not seen before.
But as they did, just as they turn to a corner, Willow bumped into a sturdy thing and almost lost her footing fr the one she bumped into seemed to be moving at a fast speed.
Almost because she could still steady herself by tumbling back, but before she could do so, her hand was held and an arm wrapped around her waist, steadying her instead.
"I apologize, are you okay?"
Willow found herself staring at two bluish eyes, who was looking at her with worry.
She could only nod her head because those two eyes seemed to be sucking her in.
They were both gentle and cold, something she couldn't truly pin point.
"Then..."
The man pulled her to stand up before letting her go.
"I an currently trying to catch someone, please excuse me," he said before dashing away.
The dash was so fast that dust flew to the air.
Willow looked at her hand that he had held.
"Hey, hey what's with that look?" Stormie laughed.
"Sh- Shut up," she retirted before putting down her hand but there was a tinge of red in her face.
As the ones trained to become the platinum knights, they were trained to stand alone.
Unlike the dainty young ladies of the same age as them, the three of them were made to become someone who does not need to be protected over such little things.
This was also the first time that she was held in such a way while being fully awake.
The only times the three of them were being protected was either when they are too injured or emotionally and mentally unstable.
Tht is why, this kind of feeling was something she had long forgotten.
The feeling of being treated and protected without the hindrance of being a platinum knight.
Stormie stared at her who remained rooted on the ground.
Very slowly a smile spread on her lips which turned to a grin, she nudged Willow with ehr elbow.
"What's this, what's this, is my friend blushing right now."
Willow cleared her throat, "Are we going aorund or not?"
There is no point thinking about that for this kind of encounter is surely something that would never happen again.
.....
"Come on, stand properly, you're too heavy," Stormie complained as she helped Willow who was swaying while walking.
'Where was the inn again?' she asked Roc.
'The frontier's inn, it is just up ahead,' Roc replied.
Stormie walked with great difficulty as she tried to half carry Willow.
As they enjoyed walking around town and eating foods that are new to them, they ended up eating one that was soaked in alcohol.
Willlow was the weakest among them when it comes to alcohol.
Though they really don't drink even though they are passed the age of being allowed to drink, the seven of them wasn't really kin to drinking.
But they did have those moments, moments of simply drinking for the fun of it.
That is why they knew Willow was the weakest among them when it comes to alcohol.
"Come on, Willow help me out a bit please," Stormie grunted.
Willow pulled herself back and pulled her arms from Stormie's grip.
"I told you, I can walk..." but as she said this, her words were in a slur and she stumbled back.
"Woah."
Before Stormie could get help her, someone supported ehr from behind.
"Well, this is quite different from the you I saw earlier today."
Willow looked up but her eye sight were double, she couldn't tell who was talking to her.
"It's you," she heard Stormie said.
"It seems you are having a problem, I can help. Where are you going?"
She could hear them converse but she can't see clearly.
She only felt herself becoming light and that was it, she passed out.
"I really apologize for this, we didn't know that the fruits we ate were actually soaked in alcohol," Stormie apologized.
"Oh, could you guys be tourists?" he asked her back.
Stormie blinked, well she suppose not everyone could actually recognize them.
But then she squinted her eyes, or was he just pretending?
Seeing her scrutinizing look the man laughed, his baritone laughter could be known as music to the ears, it was low but gentle.
As Stormie looked at him closely, she could tell that he was a handsome one.
Tall nose, sharp brows, expressive eyes, thin lips, matched with his well built body, he must be famous in this place.
"Stormie, and she is Willow. How about you?" she asked.
"Oh," he smiled before fixing the way he carries Willow allowing him to extend a hand towards Stormie for a handshake.
"Raizen, Raizen Elton."
Stormie smiled and shook his hand.
"What's going on?"
She turned upon hearing the familiar voice.
There stood at the entrance of the inn, the three guys who went their own way as well.
"Oh, hi. Well me and Willow were eating when we chanced upon some fruit soaked alcohol, unknowingly. And mister Raizen here helped me carry Willow back."
All three of them frowned, Drake stepped forward and took Willow from Raizen's arms.
"Thank you, we'll take care of her from here on," he said politely.
Raizen smiled before giving them a nod and leaving.
