The seven of them were looking at Felix, they were now on the forest far from the Imperial City.
"Are you here to bid us goodbye?" Nixon asked him.
Felix shook his head, "Please take me with you."
They were shock.
Not one of them expected this outcome, not even Saphira.
"Aren't you the crown prince? You have no siblings as well, how about your duties?" Saphira asked.
Felix scratched the back of his head, "I have spoken with my father regarding this matter. As long as I return every three months then he will allow me to follow you."
"Why are you looking at me?" Saphira asked when the six of them looked at her.
Even Hunter.
"You are the commander, the one in charge of this group," Hunter replied.
She pouted, "Then are you saying that I am responsible for his safety?"
"No."
The other's felt shivers run down their spines when he spoke.
Hunter's rejection to the idea was cold and decisive.
"He is responsible for his safety. He wants to tag along, if you agreed then he can but that's just it. If he tags along, then he needs to properly watch over himself."
"Th- That's right, I will watch over myself properly. I just want to understand more things," Felix instantly said.
He had no desire of being looked upon by those piercing eyes.
"Well, that is your choice, I can agree but I will remind you that the mission isn't a simple extermination event. It is much more arduous than what you had been doing all along. We sleep in different places, meeting different people and all."
Felix nodded his head, "I will always keep that in mind."
"There is one thing."
Saphira turned serious.
"If one of this six is hurt because you over estimated yourself then hurry back to your kingdom or I will personally send you there, whether your body is intact or not."
Felix shuddered.
Saphira was a bully with words.
But that's all there is to it.
Yet this time, it was different, she was seriously looking straight in his eyes.
"I will make sure I won't let anyone get hurt because of my actions."
"Well, that's good, shall we get going then?" Saphira smiled and turned only to see the other six looking at her.
They were a bit embarrassed in a good way with how straight forward Saphira had spoken about them getting hurt.
They couldn't even help but to blush a bit.
"What's wrong with all of you?" Saphira asked.
Felix pursed his lips as he tried to stop himself from laughing.
Saphira was so straightforward and thought of it as something that is normal yet in reality, her words actually moved her friends.
"Are we going or not?" she asked again.
The others finally snapped out of it and cleared their throats before they went their way.
"Where are we going this time again?" Ridge asked while they were spending the night at a shore far from the imperial city.
"Draco Empire," Saphira answered.
"Chester's home?" Nixon asked.
When he spoke of the name, it no longer holds the revery it once had.
Since Saphira told them the truth of the story, they were even more guilty feeling towards her.
She had kept quiet of so many things for them and suffered on her own.
"Yes, plus I have a gut feeling that that place should be checked right now," she replied.
They found out that Chester was actually an illigitimate child of the current Emperor with a maid.
It was a forced one and soon after giving birth to Chester the mother took her own life, leaving Chester in an orphanage where he grew up.
As for how the Empire found this information?
They have nothig more to say about it.
"Do you think they became like that because of their background?" Nixon couldn't help but ask.
"I don't know, they went through painful times and grew up like that. On the other hand, you all experienced pain yet look at how you all grew," Saphira replied.
"Saphira please, my heart can't take it anymore," Stormie blushed hard and covered her face.
"Huh?!?" Saphira was bewildered why she was suddenly being like this.
"Your compliments are seriously out of the blue, our hearts weren't prepared for such a sudden attack," Ridge patted his own chest.
Saphira frowned before looking at Hunter.
He chuckled and just patted her head, she spoke words honestly causing one to feel a bit embarrassed but would be moved as well.
After so many secrets were revealed, the others were more emotionally attached to Saphira.
Even though some rarely spoke to her still, they felt that she had been protecting them for so long.
Saphira shrugged, "Why don't you and the prince go out and look for our food?"
Saphira looked at Stormie and said.
"Uhmmm, is it alright for you to drop the prince part? Can't you just call me Felix since I am currently just a tag along," Felix felt uncomfortable being called prince when facing the crown prince of Qillian Empire, the biggest Empire of the world.
"Very well, you and Felix should go and look for food. Fire and wind are best in hunting," Saphira answered.
The two of them agreed and left.
"I'll go and look for water to drink," Nixon said before moving out as well.
It may just be a night but they still need to properly nourish their bodies, together with proper water intake.
Taking care of ones health is a priority when it comes to missions and completing them.
Willow didn't speak but she started using the wood to create a place for them to sleep in.
Ridge and Drake did the rest of preparation for their rest.
"Come to think of it, your sword," Hunter spoke to Saphira when they were the only ones who was not doing anything.
"Hmmm? Oh yeah, Vermilion Bird and I were able to make it, though it was pretty difficult," she answered before pulling it out.
It was difficult because a bit of losing your concentration and the sword will break.
I have no stock up chapters so all five were written on this day... I am a bit lazy now so teh editing was not done... I apologize for the typographical errors... ^_^
