Saphira was completely excited at the training everyone had gone through in the past three months.
Though they only used two months for their self training and the first month on exterminating the demonic beasts.
She can clearly tell that all of them have gained strength far more than they would have if they didn't change.
"You guys did great," she complimented.
Back was the jolly her who was no longer frustrated.
"It was all thanks to you," Ridge spoke.
"Your actions, your smiles, your frustrations. Everything lead to us to the thought that we are but naive children who doesn't know what we really are doing," he continued.
His teammates were shock at what he had said.
Even the heads.
"Don't look at me like that. That was the truth," he spoke feeling awkward with their looks.
Saphira grinned, "You really have growned as well, haven't you?"
Ridge nudged his eye glasses up, "It was because I just don't speak about these matters that you all think I don't care."
"Oh no, I never thought you don't care. But us three seemed to have the same minds," Saphira said pointing at Hunter.
"We really are sorry," Stormie lowered her head.
"Enough with the apology, okay? We simply point things out and keep quiet. We wanted all of you to understand the gravity of every actions you do," Saphira replied.
Ferdinand nudged at Drake.
But Drake shook his head.
"I want to find the best metal out there to use on her sword. I don't plan on doing things half heartedly. Then once it is done, that's when I'll speak with her," Drake whispered.
Ferdinand nodded his head.
Saphira stretched and pulled out a hair tie from her clothes.
She tied her long hair up.
"I want to spar," she said.
"Then let's do it, two on two," Asherton replied.
Saphira against Hunter.
Willow against Stormie.
Nixon against Drake.
Ridge wasn't on par yet, so he will still face the heads.
"I know you will do better Ridge," Saphira encouraged him.
And so the six of them started sparring with one another.
As the heads watched, they could see the amount the rest have placed on their own training.
"They have grown indeed," Ferdinand commented.
The others couldn't agree more.
With this it is for sure that they didn't need to worry anymore.
Just as they kept going with their sparring, a large amount of demonic beasts were rushing towards their side.
Saphira raised her hand to stop them.
She was the first to know of their arrival.
"What's wrong?" Hunter asked.
"Hey, Nixon, Stormie, Willow. Let's try your strength now."
"What do you mean?" Stormie asked.
"They're coming. Hunter, Drake, Ridge and our dear heads please back off."
At first they were baffled until they felt the strong darkness coming from one side.
"They're coming, they're cominig," Saphira clapped her hands with a grin.
"You-"
Ridge didn't know how to react, she looks so happy at the moment.
"This is a good way to test your capabilities," Saphira said to the three who didn't know whether to laugh or cry because of the sudden situation they were thrown into.
"Hmmm I think they are about to get close? A hundred? No two hundred of them?" Saphira spoke as she tried to feel her surrounding.
"T- Tw- Tw- Two hundred? W- Well, that's quite a lot," Nixon answered.
They weren't scared, they were simply shock at how nonchalant Saphira is regarding the matter.
"What? I trust you can handle this, that is why I am leaving it in your care. Plus, at the very least you will be able to assess yourself on how far you have become," Saphira told them sitting down on a chair she took from inside moments ago.
Soon the hoard of demonic beasts arrived near them.
"Actually..."
Eveyrone looked at Asherton.
"The others have already taken down a lot of demonic beasts while you were asleep, why don't you take care of this?" he added.
Saphira pouted.
"Stop being lazy and get to work, chop chop."
In reality, all of them are curious of one thing.
That is her strength.
"I guess I need to test it out myself," she replied standing up.
Willow, Nixon and Stormie jumped away at the same time.
Saphira jumped forward, just as the beasts came close.
She stomped her foot and waved her hand.
*BOOM*
All eyes went wide.
"Uhmmm..."
Saphira looked back at them.
She didn't intend to make it big but somehow, she actually burned all of the demonic beasts in the few movements she made.
When she stomped her foot, fire erupted from the ground and when she waved her hand, the fire followed her will and moved as well.
"I drained quite a lot of my mana," she uttered.
It was so big and fast, it was pretty obvious that her mana would just flow out of her body just like that.
"I guess I need to train again?" she told them.
Everyone still couldn't snap out of their shock until she had walked over.
She clapped her hands and they returned to reality.
"That was my mistake. I had difficulty in understanding my current strength and used the same thing, thinking I will use the same mana but alas. My mana increased and so that means even what I use should be controlled right?" she explained to them.
"You don't have to explain, we were just shock," Asherton told her.
Saphira sighed, "I know even I was shock to what had happened. Didn't expect my strength as a child was that much."
"For now, I would like to roam the island and get use to this. I'll be back tonight," she then said.
The others agreed and she left.
They could see that she was really shock as well.
It means she had not expected for such.
After leaving, a frown appeared on Saphira's face.
She walked towards a hidden part of the island and entered her inner place.
The place where Vermilion Bird stays.
"What the hell was that?" she asked him upon seeing him inside.
Vermilion Bird didn't reply and was simply looking up.
