Chapter 4

The train continued on for a few more minutes before coming to a stop.

"We are now arriving at Bilham Cargo Site" A mechanical female voice spoke through the speakers.

(A/N: My naming sense is over the moon….)

Looking out the window, Uzui watched as, before him, piles and piles of cargo crates or whatever they were called were moved about by cranes and giant robotic arms. Countless workers ran about, operating the machines and Uzui could see the outlines of a lot of other vehicles in the distance, probably waiting for the cargo to be transported off.

He sat there, it was about a five minute stop at each station, to let people in and out, though only a few people got off at this stop.

Uzui got up, walking out of his small cabin, and throwing his trash away, as he was about to walk back to his cabin, a large rattling noise sounded throughout.

"Biiiiuuuuw!" What seemed to be a large wave of purple energy coursed through the train, turning off all the lights rendering complete darkness.

(A/N: Internally cringing at my sound effects….)

Uzui's eyes widened before he groaned once more. This sound….. Kay/O…..

He rushed back to his cabin, looking out the window, carefully, watching as three figures stepped through the Cargo Site, shooting their guns around them, as they traded fire with a few guards, who easily fell.

One of the figures was tall and bulky, muscles rippling and wearing an orange beret, he chuckled a little, beard wavering as his giant steel Ares rendered crates to pieces. Brimstone.

And to the left, a giant, even taller robotic figure stood. He was covered in what seemed to be metal, with two dogtags around his neck and in his chest, a whirring jewel of energy sent sparks phishing through the air. His face was helmet like, with a computer-like visor that displayed a triangular symbol of sorts. He held a bucky in his hand, cocking it around. Kay/O.

Then lastly, sitting on top of a crate, was a thin lanky man, wearing an elegant white middle-eastern overcoat with a weird umbrella-ish hat. His face was covered with a mask of sorts, metallic in color, only revealing two glowing blue eyes. The lanky man discharged a few bullets from his Bulldog, taking out a charging guard. Cypher.

These were probably the Evil ones….. Uzui hid behind one of the seats, peaking his head over it, worried that they might find him.

Suddenly, Brimstone nodded to Kay/O, who walked over next to a giant crane and took something out of thin air. The Spike. A metallic glowing bomb that could easily wipe out a good area of life. But why here? Uzui wasn't that caught up with the lore so this came sort of hard for him….

Then, yelling something, Brimstone unleashed a trail of bullets into the Bullet train, piercing throughout and shattering the glass near Uzui, which quickly broke into small shards, collapsing to the floor. It was apparent that the train glass was not bulletproof….

Cipher seemed to be placing some cameras and tripwires about, way more than the game would allow one to put.

Now, he could hear more clearly, as the sound of crackling fire once again filled his ears, and gunshots firing through the air. Uzui decided to make a run for it, dashing out the cabin door, and into the main hallway, where countless people groaned in pain. Some were scraped and bruised, while others had gunshot wounds.

Quickly making his way through them, Uzui picked up a fallen Ghost, exiting the train and getting underneath the mag-lev train tracks. He knew that this train wouldn't be starting up anytime soon, with all the damage and Kay/O's EMP, so getting run over was probably not possible.

Looking at the silenced pistol in his hand, Uzui hefted himself up, crouching down as Cypher and Brimstone spoke, having eliminated most of the Kingdom guards.

Uzui had a clear shot, Kay/O, was guarding the Spike, checking the area opposite of Uzui, Brimstone, and Cypher, though still alert, had not seen him yet, and the sound of fire would cover his approach. Matched with the silenced pistol, Uzui could kill them.

Raising his pistol, Uzui activated V.A.T.S, looking around. Only these three evil agents seemed to be present, with no reinforcements coming anytime soon. Honestly, Uzui couldn't get why they didn't just bring Sage with them just in case.

Shaking his head, he used V.A.T.S, the surroundings almost at a complete standstill, and targeted Brimstone, adding one shot to the head, before switching to Kay/O and Cypher, adding two shots to their heads. Brimstone, did nto seem to have any protection, but Kay/O was a robot and Cypher seemed to have a tiny bit of protection in the form of his mask, so two for them, just as a precaution.

Then, he aimed. It was like someone had taken control of his body, yet it also felt as if he was in control of his body, strange. Jerking his pistol around, he took a shot to Brimstone's head, who collapsed to the ground, Cypher finally finding him and about to take fire with his Bulldog, but another crisp quiet sound met Uzui's ears as he shot two bullets through Cyphers head, who also fell, blood spilling out of his brain. Kay/O, responding quickly, managed to fire three shots from his switched Classic at Uzui, but was put down too.

One of the shots grazed Uzui's neck, who gritted his teeth a little as a searing pain racked his body. The Kay/O clattered to the ground, purple and blue sparks whirling as the guy kneeled on the ground, trying to get back up, but failing.

The telltale sound of the Spike beeping away filled the air ominously, Uzui carefully going over, examining the pulses of the Cypher and Brimstone, his stomach acting up.

Though they were evil murderer clones who had killed and destroyed a bunch of stuff, still….. Shaking his head, Uzui stared at the buzzing spike, his eyes widening.

"Aw, sh*t." Uzui rushed over, picking the dropped Bucky on the ground, shooting the stunned Robot, who collapsed to the ground, for good. He looked at the Spike, trying to lift up the bar things that usually went up when one defused the Spike in-game, and failing. He sifted around Kay/O's body, bu t nothing was found. Running over, the Spike's whirling had picked up, the iconic white and black sparks rising around it.

Then, he found something, it sort of looked like one of those check out scanners at the supermarket, it had a single button on its side and was a little bulky.

He went over, thinking that the button on the side would help defuse, and he clicked it, pressing it to the side of the Spike….
