"What the-" "Literally a hacker!" "The F-" "Through the f-ing wall?!" Uzui suddenly found himself in Valorant with a modded version of V.A.T.S. Warning: The first "volume" is the old version. Go to vol. 2 for the rewrite. Disclaimer: None of this stuff besides OC's belong to me... I guess.
"Chck! Beep!" The sound of the Spike being defused rang through the Cargo site, Uzui letting out a groan of relief, as the bar thing slowly started to ascend to the top of the Spike, notifying that it was being defused.
Soon, the wind around Uzui swirled, his hair flapping about, the Spike shaking violently, turning a boiling orange before the bar reached the top, and all wind ceased, the Spike collapsing in on itself.
"Goddamnit..." Uzui sighed, collapsing on the floor, sweat dripping down his face. Thankfully, the otherworldly Valorant agents must have kept a diffuser on themselves just in case….
Coming out of the rubble, a few guards and civilians watched, mouths gaping. A single normal, albeit sort of handsome man easily made work of three Radiants, monstrous superhumans who could do inhuman things. Of course, Cipher and Brimstone were simply using Radianite gear, but the bystanders really did not need to know…
Uzui was pretty cool -looking actually, with long white hair coming down to his shoulders and unblemished pale skin with a muscular build.
He sat there, blinking a little, taking a small pack of tissues out of his pocket, attempting to cover the irritating wound. It was nothing life-threatening, only a cut, so as long as it didn't get infected, Uzui would be good. It was a cloudy day, so the weather was decent, sitting here was actually a little comfortable.
"Ugh…" Uzui watched as the guards and civilians started pulling people out of the train and nearby area. A good number of people, including the evil Radiants had died due to the previous gunfight. Lying back down on the cold stone floor, Uzui ignored the dead Robot next to him and breathed in and out, mentally exhausted, his hands trembling.
Pressuring the wound, Uzui closed his eyes, the smell of smoke strong in his nose.
Five Minutes Later…
The bleeding had mostly stopped, with the wound starting to heal.
"Yo…. Small world." A crisp British accent sounded from above Uzui as he groggily opened his eyes, looking at Phoenix's peering face.
"Don't know if I am extremely lucky, or extremely unlucky….." Uzui spoke, coughing a little.
"Well….. Dunno. You good man?" Phoenix held out a hand, which Uzui gladly took,
"Just a small wound. Besides that, I'm good I guess…." Chatting, Uzui and Phoenix joked around a little, before behind them, someone spoke up.
"Phoenix…. Would you please come over…?" A mid-heighted teenage girl walked over. She was thin, with slick dark brown hair and wearing circular black glasses. She wore mostly all yellow, with a light thin jacket and some weird apparently fashionable shoes. A green beanie-like hat adorned her head.
Okay, Killjoy…" Phoenix turned around, sighing, Uzui, not really knowing what to do, followed him.
They arrived at a small trailer of sorts, entering. It was filled with marvelous-looking technology of all sorts. Giant computer screens with sprawling lines of code constantly updating, mechanical robots skittering about, a freaking turret twirling around looking at them, and much, much, more.
"Her mobile laboratory, a bunch of crazy stuff in here…. Don't touch anything." Phoenix whispered to Uzui, who nodded, not wanting to get blown up or anything. He had enough of that for the day…
Killjoy beckoned for them to sit, not really caring that Uzui was here. "Anyway…. Who is this friend of yours Phoenix?" She asked, typing away, uploading a few files and whatnot.
"His name is Uzui. Didn't I tell you guys 'bout him before?" Phoenix answered, spinning around in his chair as he played with what seemed to be a grenade.
"Oh yes! The man who saved your life. Thank you for helping him, he is quite unhinged at times… Put the grenade down Phoenix!" Killjoy smiled, nodding to Uzui before grabbing the shaking grenade out of Phoenix's "grubby" hands.
"No problem…." Uzui answered, stretching out his legs to let the Chicken Turret past.
"Now… Why were you there? Youre history is completely clear and all, but in just a month, you were at the scene of two Radiant attacks, managing to kill four Radiants, all while outnumbered and undergeared." Killjoy looked at him in the eyes, Uzui shrugging.
"I have nothing to say to that, I have no excuses. Went to Tallac on vacation, ended with quite the fiery display. On my way to London, got my train hijacked by this random American dude, A Man with actually pretty good fashion sense, and a shotgun wielding Robot. Shot all of them dead…..." Uzui spoke, trailing off a little at the end.
(A/N: Tallac is the name of the first town, I came up with this on the spot.)
"Oh? Well, there doesn't seem to be any incriminating evidence against you, so I guess we will take your word for it." Killjoy spoke in her thick German accent, tapping one of her robots on its head, which marched off into the distance. The way her gadgets moved were sort of like ducks, how strange….. "Coffee or Tea?" She asked, opening a cupboard and looking at the two.
"I'll take the coffee." Phoenix said, slouching back in his seat.
"Tea please…." Uzui also spoke, wanting something light to drink after that intense but short lived battle.
"So Lemon and Espresso?" Killjoy questioned, taking out a few jars.
"Yes, that will do." Uzui was trying to be polite right now, as he was surrounded by a bunch of possibly killer robots that this woman had created.
"I'll take it!" Phoenix spun around in the swivel chair, humming a little. He for one, was not concerned at all, but they were on the same side….
While Uzui shifted around in his chair, he took out the Ghost, by the barrel of course. "Umm…. What do I do with this?" He looked at Killjoy and Phoenix.
Phoenix just shrugged. "I'm a Radiant. No one has tried taking stuff away from me so…."
Adjusting her glasses as steam came out of a graffiti painted mug, she carefully gave both Phoenix and Uzui their respective Coffee and Tea.
Sipping it, Uzui was pleasantly surprised. The Tea was extremely good! Light, with a strong natural Lemon flavor, it went down his gullet with ease.
He sat there sipping the tea as the three just sat there, all doing their own thing. Phoenix was texting on his phone, chuckling a little, and Killjoy seemed to be reading some documents and sending a report to Kingdom about the incident no doubt.
