While Hunter was still trying to gather his thoughts, Claudia looked at him with disapproval. "Are you going to leave us standing here?"
Hunter hesitated, then stepped aside to let them in. "Please come in. Delilah and Jessica aren't home right now. Can I offer you something to drink while you wait?"
"No, thank you," Claudia said sharply. "We won't be staying."
"I'm sure they are not far away. I can contact them if you'd like," Hunter offered, looking at their father.
Ned shook his head. "There is no need for that. We won't be here for that long. We can't wait for them to get back. But it's nice to meet you," he said looking at Hunter, curious to know more about the man who was married to his first daughter.
"How long have you both been married?" Ned asked Hunter.
Hunter smiled, "It's been a week. I can't believe it's a week already," Hunter said and Ned smiled, wondering why he looked sort of familiar.
