Chapter 6

After about 4 hours of explaining/describing the man that threatened Bella and me, Charlie finally drove me home, I wanted to make Bella tell me exactly what happened but I was exhausted.

I still can't get the way when he looked at me with his blood-red eyes my whole body started to shudder remembering his eyes and the way he looked at me as if I was prey and he was the the Predator.

Whatever he is I am determined to have Bella tell me.

I walk upstairs to my room lucky for me my grandma has already went to sleep, I finally make it to my room and flop down on my bed not even bothering to change clothes I was to exhausted too.

"AAAAHHHHHHH"

I wake up in the middle of the night to the sound of a screeching scream from outside I turn on my light and look out my window when I look outside I don't see anything I was about to go back to sleep when I see  moment in a window across the street.

I look closer and see Charlie holding Bella.

'I hope she's ok.' I say before turning around and turning my light off and laying back in bed falling asleep.

I woke up the next morning and decide I will go and see Sam,

when we were kids he was my best friend, we used to have a little group of friends that consisted of Sam, Jared, Paul, and me.

Sam was older than us but we all followed him around like he was our leader, I eventually moved away with my parents and haven't seen them since.

I throw on a red hoodie, and white pants and grab a hat.

I run downstairs and see my grandma reading a newspaper.

"I am going to run down to the Rez to see Sam," I say before turning around and leaving.

"Ok, have fun dear." she says back with a genuine smile.

I get in my car and start yo drive towards Sam's place.

(10 minutes later.)

I pull into his driveway, I turn off my car, I get out, I walk to the front door, and knock 3 times waiting for someone to answer.

"KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK."

I hear some shuffling around inside then a girl with a scar on her face opens the door after closer inspection I realized that this girl is non other than the Emily Young.

"AHHHHHHHH" we squeal together as she pulls me into a bear hug.

Emily and I used to be great friends she only came to visit every now and then but when she was here we were always together.

"I missed you so much." Emily says.

Before I could respond four boys come out the door growling, Emily seems to notice and let's go.

"What happened?" A voice says that sounds familiar.

"Your not gonna believe it but Jordy is back." Emily says with a squeal.

I look up and see Emily with Sams arm around her waist.

Sam let's go and walks towards me and then gives me a massive Hug.

"I've missed you soooo much." Sam says.

"Sam, are you sick?" I ask.

"What?" He says but his facial expression soon changes and let's go of me like he remembered something.

"Ahhh sorry, I'm just Hot." He  says with a smirk. Emily slaps his arm while we laugh.

"Jordy?" I hear to boys say my name.

I look over and see Paul and Jared, I notice that Sam started to tense when I looked at them but I didn't care.

Paul seemed to stare at me for a minute I was expecting something to happen but nothing did he started to get a sullen Expression on his face.

Sam and Emily looked relieved about something.

"Is there something wrong with my face?"  I ask.

Paul and Jared start to smile and walk toward me giving me a massive hug.

"Missed you sis." Jared says.

We talked for a couple of minutes before I remembered there was one other person.

I look at the other boy he stares at me as-well just not as long.

this time it was Paul was looking relieved.

'Ok there is definitely something weird going on.' I think to myself.

"Ahhh, where are my manors, this is Embry Call." Sam says.

"I vaguely remember you." I say with a smile.

I have been catching up with my old friends when all of a sudden I hear a angry growl like sound from behind us.

"So I can't tell Bella but you can say whatever you want." A boy says walking out of the treeline.

I can see he his visibly shaking and steam seems to be coming off of his body.

"COOL IT, JAKE." Sam basically barks out at The boy he called Jake.

Paul and Jared step in front of me in a protective manner.

'What can't he tell Bella.' I think to myself.

Wait a second giant wolves Quileute legends, no way.

"OH MY GOD." I say.

"What?" Sam looks back at me.

"Your the wolves from the clearing yesterday." I say with confidence.

Everyone turns around and stairs at me with there mouths open.

"How do you know about us?" Sam asks with a very confused face.

"Sam you used to tell me all of the legends when we were young." I say with a smile.

"So you did tell her." Jake says, that was his breaking point his whole body starts to convulse.

All of a sudden where Jake was standing is now a red-brown wolf, that is the size of a horse.

He is snarling and growling looking straight at me. 

"JAKE, STOP NOW!" Sam barks out again.

Jake takes a step toward me and at that very second Paul and Jared Phase on the spot and lunge at Jake all three of them biting at each other rolling around until they roll down a hill into the woods.

"I'll go check on them." Sam says before Turing around and running after them.
