What is hidden in the north 3

"Where is the true leader of this organization?" Airon asked as he followed Mercer while taking in the surroundings.

Mercer, who was leading the way to the meeting room, responded in an unnatural manner, "It seems you are well-informed about our organization, so you must know everything about us. Don't worry, Mrs. Pamela Milton is on her way to this place."

While walking, Airon felt Alicia's gaze beside him. He turned to look at her and discreetly winked, causing Alicia to blush slightly.

"There are truly beautiful women in this place, don't you think, Mr. Mercer?"

"I don't think so..."

Airon was respectfully led to a meeting room in the Commonwealth, feeling the eyes of those present on him. The formality and order that prevailed in the place contrasted with the tension he had felt moments before outside. As he walked through the corridors, he noticed that every detail was carefully planned, and he wondered about the purpose of having a peaceful meeting in that place.

Upon entering the meeting room, Airon found a sober yet welcoming atmosphere. The soft lighting and wooden furniture conveyed an air of serenity and cordiality. The leaders of the Commonwealth, headed by their leader, Elizabeth, were seated at a long table at the end of the room.

Inside that meeting room, Pamela Milton was seated in the main seat and introduced herself to Airon in a measured voice, "Welcome, Airon. I appreciate you accepting our invitation to this peaceful meeting."

Airon, looking around, remarked, "I must admit I am surprised by the formality and tranquil atmosphere here. I did not expect such a reception after our encounter at the gates of the Commonwealth."

Pamela Milton, smiling politely, mentioned, "I understand your surprise, Airon. But you must understand that we are a community that values peace and cooperation. Although we have heard about your actions and your army, we believe in the importance of seeking peaceful solutions rather than resorting to violence."

Airon nodded, taking a seat at the table with the other leaders. As the conversation progressed, Airon gained a better understanding of the purpose of that peaceful meeting. The Commonwealth sought an opportunity for dialogue and collaboration with the aim of finding a mutually beneficial form of coexistence.

Pamela, looking Airon up and down, expressed her intention, "We want to avoid unnecessary bloodshed, Airon. We believe that as leaders, we have a responsibility to find a solution that benefits both communities. We are not here to fight, but to seek an alliance based on respect and joint survival."

Airon nodded and said in a contemplative tone, "I understand your words, Elizabeth. I share your desire to avoid further bloodshed. But I also need to ensure that our actions and intentions are mutually transparent. I am here to present you with a proposal, something that would change the world of the future."

"Allow me to introduce myself formally, my name is Airon, the overall commander of the SCT forces, and I come to present you with a proposal. Throughout my leadership since the outbreak began, we have been focused on improving humanity, but recently we have encountered several setbacks..."

George, who was by his side, lifted a briefcase and opened it in front of everyone. Inside were documents and files that had been specially prepared to give them a presentation about the state of the world.

"I will start from the beginning, and that is the virus... In your hands, you have classified documents from my organization, so be proud."

Airon took the floor in the meeting, adopting a serious and professional tone. All those present focused on his words, aware of the importance of the information he was about to share.

"Allow me to tell you about the outbreak of the Wildfire virus and how it has evolved since the first cases. From the beginning of this pandemic, we have witnessed the rampant spread of the virus and the havoc it has wreaked on our lives."

"A few years ago, when Operation Cobalt was announced, many cities were abandoned and gradually lost to the threat of walkers. The virus proved to be highly contagious and lethal, challenging our efforts to contain it and find a cure."

"Our scientists have been working tirelessly to understand the nature of this virus and seek a solution that can stop its progress. However, so far, we have encountered numerous obstacles along the way. The complexity of the virus, its mutability, and the lack of resources have made it difficult to develop an effective cure."

"It is important for all of us to understand the gravity of the situation we are facing. We are not only fighting against a military force or a human enemy, but against an invisible and highly dangerous enemy that threatens the very existence of our species."

Airon paused, allowing his words to resonate in the room. The faces of those present reflected a mix of concern and determination.

"Our goal is not limited solely to the survival of our people. We must aspire to something greater: finding a cure for the Wildfire virus and restoring hope in a future free from this threat."

"All of us present here have a crucial role to play in this fight. We must unite our forces, share knowledge and resources, and work together to overcome the challenges that lie before us. Only through collaboration and dedication can we move towards the possibility of a cure."

The room fell silent as the leaders of the Commonwealth absorbed Airon's words. They understood the gravity of the situation and the need to join forces to confront the common enemy, which was the virus. The struggle for the survival of humanity demanded setting aside differences and working together to find a solution.

"Most of us are aware of it, so tell me, what is your point with all of this... What are you looking to achieve by coming here?" Mercer was becoming impatient.

"Let me tell you that all of this leads us to the existence of the CRM..."
