Ping City
Lin Fei sat in the car, looking out at the familiar streets, feeling an inexplicable sense of relaxation. It was a common reflex when one returned from the unfamiliar to the familiar.
The black sedan entered the downtown of Ping City and finally stopped in front of a red restaurant, reminiscent of an ancient pavilion. Two doormen came forward to open the car doors for the two people.
"This is the place," Xiaoling said with a smile as she got out of the car.
Lin Fei glanced at the restaurant's signboard: Feiyun Restaurant.
"Your friends are all inside, and the banquet has already been arranged for you," Xiaoling said on the side.
"Is that so?" Lin Fei was noncommittal.
"It was originally arranged at Jingxiu Villa, but Sister Chen Chen vetoed it, saying it was too far and inconvenient to travel. In the end, it was settled here," Xiaoling led the way to the restaurant's main entrance.
