The morning after the party the entire village was hurting, men, women, and even some children were afflicted with the consequence of drinking too much alcohol. People would be groaning and crying if not for the risk of aggravating their hangover, the only one who was exempt from this fate was Hiko his liver was able to filter out the alcohol much faster than humans.
His bright appearance earned him no few glares from the villagers as they nursed cups of coffee, " Damit, how come we can talk through snails but we still don't have a remedy for a hangover. " Nami muttered into Hiko's ear as she rested her head on his shoulder as she woke up a little bit before going back to sleep, realizing he wasn't suffering the same fate as her Nami made Hiko carry her on his back.
While the village was recovering Hiko and Nami was by the shore frowning as he looked through the shop, he had wanted to buy a new ship but all the prices were way too high. So Hiko resorted to buying a blueprint for a ship that suited his needs, unlike an actual blueprint buying one from the shop didn't just give him a set of instruction, instead, the way to build the ship was implanted directly in his mind.
That said the materials needed were not present on the island so he also had to buy them from the shop, all in all, the blueprint cost 3500 PP, while the materials he had to buy ran for 1050 PP.
Hiko ended up using all of his points to fund his ship, he could only hope that his trip to the clam belt would prove fruitful since the whole of the village was hurting Hiko could only rely on himself to make this ship. grinning Hiko condensed his Nen creating one hundred foot long ants. Without direction, the Nen constructs started to move.
Hiko enjoyed watching the ants go to work using rocks as hammers they nailed the wood together before using iron bands to keep the wood in place. Based on the size of the ship Hiko predicted that it would take two days to finish, groaning Nami fully woke up, " Why are we on the beach, and what are you doing. " Lookin down at the beauty Hiko grinned, " I was tired of hearing you complain about having no room to train so I started to build our new ship. "
watching for a minute Nami sighed as her brain tried to escape her skull, " I'm going to head back into the village to help with the rebuilding. Also, my sister wants to join us that won't be a problem, will it? " Shaking his head Hiko grinned thinking about Nami's sister, " Here take these ants to help with the village. " Hiko created twenty more ants that followed Nami back to the village, making so many ants without having them feed off of a source was taxing and Hiko had to sit down.
It wasn't that bad as he used the opportunity to train his nen, his ants were crucial for his growth most people couldn't contend with him so he could just send his ants in to deal with them.
The royal jelly was also critical it would take him hours to eat a single sea king but his ant would be done in a few minutes, back in the village children watched in wonder as the dark red ants Nami had brought moved back and forth through the village carrying materials for the men and women working on houses that had been damaged.
Nami smiled as she helped rebuild the village she had grown up in, " Hey Nami. " Looking behind her Nami Genzo waving at her, " I called the navy they should be on their way, you sure did a number on the bastard he still hasn't woken up. He deserved every bit of it though. "
Grinning Nami hugged the town's sheriff, " It's so good to see you after all these years. " Genzo felt a tear come to his eye, " I still can't believe it's over after all these years, your mother would be so proud of the both of you. "
Crying a bit herself Nami remembered her mother, " Nojiko and I talked about leaving we love the village and all but-. " Genzo laughed softly, " It's okay, it's about time both of you live your lives, everyone just wants you two to be happy. " Nami chuckled wiping the tears from her eyes, " I guess it's about time I live a little. "
Getting back to work Nami picked up a hammer to help rebuild the town she grew up in. Back on the shore, Hiko was still meditating training his Nen by maintaining En for as long he could. Getting up Hiko looked at the half made ship, ' I should go get Nami's treasure before I forget. ' Walking through the town people waved at him, " Hey Hiko wait up. "
Stopping Hiko looked to see Nojiko, " Nami told me that you were fine with me coming aboard so I just wanted to say thanks. " Nodding Hiko looked over her body, " You and Nami look the same except for the hair, I wonder if you two make the same type of noises. " Nojiko blushed as she stopped walking, " W-what do you mean. " Hiko grinned as he pulled Nojiko closed to him, " If you want to find out ask Nami. " Blushing even more Nojiko nose started to drip blood, ' Why do I keep breaking them. '
