Lilith couldn't stop overthinking, what if Axie will find someone there? What if she will take more care of that person than her? What if she leaves her? What if she won't look at her tenderly anymore?

Lilith felt aggrieved and looked at her with tears in her eyes.

Lilith shook her head what she feels is her heart being clenched by an invisible hand and it was as if being pricked by a thousand needles.

"Lilith, it's okay I'm here," She said softly

Lilith wanted to tell her don't look at other women or men. Only look at her, only she is in her eyes. She can only be hers she can't live without her anymore.

Lilith nodded happily, she was in a very good mood now she finally got to tell her she liked her.

"Then let's go now, we'll talk later okay" Lu Xie kissed her forehead

Lilith nodded excitedly and was fired up.

Lu Xie went on her back again and then catch up with the others, while on the way. She was thinking why she didn't notice it. She sighed lightly at her mistake and gently rubbed her face against her back.

Lilith trembled at her action, she can hear the loud beating of her heart on her chest. It was exciting and filled with warmth.

They arrived at Gangsi City, looking like it was infested with a lot of mutant plants there were only a few zombies around.

The plant roots expanded all over the place and saw some zombies attach to the ground. It was made like nutrients by the mutant plants.

As they were about to go and collect some materials.

A loud explosion happened in front of them about a few kilometers away from them.

Then saw a man running toward them, with a... Zombie.

The zombie was unlike any other it was big about 3 meters tall and it was angry.

"FUCK!!! HURRY GET AWAY FROM HERE!!!" Maya shouted as the car drove too fast away

Lilith also started to run back to the same place they came from.

Lu Xie look back and the zombie was still following us the man was also running from it but he got hold of the car's rope and was sliding on the ground with a piece of metal.

Lilith got the chance then bite its hand hard as she tried to pull it away, but the zombie was strong. As the zombie was about to grab her with its other hand.

Lu Xie immediately got off her back, jumped high took out a long sword then thrust forward.

"Aaggrrrrrrrrr" the zombie roared in pain

Lu Xie clenched her teeth, as she pushed the sword deeper. The zombie started to move like crazy, so she had to let go and then punch it in the face.

Lilith ripped its hand apart when they separate and spit it out, 'Disgusting' she thought

Lu Xie landed on the ground gently as the zombie stumbled backward. So she rolled her sleeve and approach the zombie.

Took out another sword, raised it in the air high then thrust forward on its chest.

"AAAGRRRRRRRRR" the zombie shouted before losing its life

Lu Xie sighed and then face Lilith with a smile when suddenly.

Lilith widen her eyes at what she saw, and she froze for a second then immediately rushed toward her. She bit off the zombie's head and then throw it away.

Lu Xie didn't notice the zombie was still alive when she turned her back and attack her with its sharp nails. Before getting killed by Lilith.

Her body slowly lost strength, as she was about to fall to the ground. A soft body caught her.

Lilith felt tears in her eyes looking at her, the zombie hit Lu Xie's vital part. When she caught her she felt her body getting very hot.

'No!!!! LU XIE!!!! NOOOO' she shouted inside

She couldn't speak human words, and the only things coming out of her mouth were groans of sadness.

'AXIE!!! NO NO NO NO NO!!! AXIE!!'

Lilith immediately bit her clothes and run toward where Maya and the others went she found just a few blocks away from them.

Maya noticed her and immediately approach, she finally got to see Lu Xie in blood.

"Oh my god!!! Glen came here immediately!!" she shouted

Glen approaches them in a hurry and used his power to heal.

Lilith saw Lu Xie's body glowing with a pale green light, but slowly her body started to felt heavy and a little cole her face was pale and her lips were getting a little bloodless. Tears fell down her cheek and rub her head against her gently to wake her up.

But no matter how many times she rubs she won't open her eyes. Her heart ached so badly she wanted to follow her.

She couldn't live without her, she can't imagine a world without her Axie.

Glen was sweating buckets there were internal wounds on Lu Xie her vital spot was hit and she was losing her life fast. He tried to use all his remaining power until he stop breathlessly
