-[chapter 11]-

Walking through the halls of the museum, I finally found old Doctor Animo working on one of his machines.

"Okay, old man, I think it's time you stopped, because it's time you took your pills." – I said as I approached and thought again that I should learn words to say to the villains.

"I see that you are very persistent, I hate persistence." – HE said while he raised his head a little to see me and then continue working on his machine.

"I don't want to hear that from you, sir, I want to conquer the world." – I said while he shook his head, before the words of the man who wants to conquer the world.

"(Snort) Finish him, I still have to finish my machine." – He said to the air after snorting, the old Animo did not seem to want to continue talking to me and then start walking.

"HEY!! WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU ARE GOING!!" – I yelled at him and then I started walking and tried to follow him, but at that point the mutant frog fell, getting between me and Doctor Animo.

"Tsk." – I thought the frog should no longer have been here.

*Bird screech* Just then I heard the parrot screech behind me and when I turned back I saw it heading towards me.

"WOAW!!" – Without thinking twice I activated [one for all] and took a big jump, thus avoiding the parrot which passed under me. But while I was in the air the frog didn't seem to want to give me a break and threw its tongue at me which stuck to my chest at great speed.

"WAAAHHH!!" – I screamed as I was pulled by the mutant frog's tongue towards her.

'Ok, this wasn't in the plan.' – I thought and without further ado used [Fireball] and put it on the frog's tongue.

*Sound of pain* The frog began to grunt in pain while moving its head, causing its tongue to also move in all directions and at some point it let go of me, making me fly into the air.

"This is going to hurt…" – That was what I managed to say before crashing into an exhibit of saber-toothed tigers.

*sound of things destroying*

"ARGH!!, Who said fighting was fun?" – I said after getting up while rubbing my head using [Minor Healing].

"Huh?" – I said when I felt a gust of wind and then saw the parrot fall in front of me and carry its open beak towards me. I quickly grabbed him with my hands preventing him from getting any closer.

"Ok, I accept it, this is getting out of control…" – I said while hardly accepting that this is getting out of control… then deciding to end this quickly. I push the parrot hard to get him off of me and without wasting time I punch him in the head while using [Strong Punch].

The mutant parrot flew a few meters back, I won't lie, I was scared, because the parrot fell to the ground hitting its head on it and didn't get up. I wanted to go check to make sure he was okay, because well, although it bothers me, I don't want to kill him, he's just an innocent animal being controlled by the old doctor, Animo.

But just then, a shadow suddenly appeared and without thinking much I jumped forward with enough force to make me roll on the floor. But fortunately I did it because...

*BOOM!!*

The stupid mutant frog had tried to crush me.

"OHHH!?? So you wanted to get revenge for burning your tongue a little, huh?" – I said as I looked into the frog's eyes and saw the fury and pain in them.

The frog of course didn't answer me... because of course he can't and instead he jumped again.

With annoyance in my eyes, I used [Fireball] again, but this time I threw it in the direction of her unprotected stomach.

*Sound of pain**BOOM!*

I quickly did a backflip avoiding the frog from falling on me and then jumped high in the direction of the painful frog to punch it in the head while using [Strong Punch].

"BUT WHAT!?" – I said, feeling how my attack did not have the effect I thought, and in the seconds that I was surprised, the frog was not going to waste them and quickly moved to what I believe was to try to eat me. I had to use it as a support to make a jump that made me fall a few meters back, thus preventing the frog from eating me.

"OKAYYY...Physical attacks don't work against the frog...noted." – I said as I saw the frog getting back up.

"So… how am I supposed to knock her out?" – I murmured the question to no one in particular as I looked at her.

While I was doing it, the frog without wasting any more time launched its tongue at high speed towards me, I dodged it and grabbed it.

"AHA, what are you going to do now?... WOOAAAHHH!! BAD IDEA, BAD IDEA!!" – I said and you could have seen how my face went from a cocky smile to a scared one in seconds, since the frog pulled her tongue with such force that it made me fly towards her very quickly.

"Ouch! Ugh, that's disgusting…" – I said after colliding with the frog and getting slime all over myself, fortunately the frog had closed its mouth when it finished retracting its tongue. I fell to the ground and the frog took the opportunity to use its paw to step on me.

Without wasting time and before the frog decides to eat me, I raised my hand and used [Fireball]. The frog, seeing the fireball in my hands, seemed to recognize the danger and quickly jumped.

"UFFF… That was close." – I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw that the frog had moved away, I also quickly used [Clean] to remove the frog's slime from my body.

'Okay, enough games, it's time to end this.' – I thought as I sharpened my gaze and activated [Berserker] and the [One for all] raised it to 20%.

I felt my muscles bulge and I could feel the great power my body now possessed.

'This is uncomfortable...' – I thought while moving my bulging muscles a little. The [One for all] at 20% is the most I can take without damaging my body and I can also combine it with the unique skill [Berserker] and other skills without damaging my body, apart from expending my stamina faster than normal.

That would be my classification at the moment, now I am in the same classification as the frog, I hope I can defeat it quickly.

"Okay, maximum effort!" – I muttered and then rushed towards the frog, it quickly jumped, but I did the same and while we were in the air I punched it in the head while using [Strong Punch]. I felt how part of the impact was absorbed, but in the end it served its purpose and the frog shot backwards until it hit a pillar not far away.

Without wasting time when I fell, I moved quickly and jumped again, taking advantage of the moment while the frog was stunned, I raised my right foot with the intention of giving it a hammer kick while using [Strong Kick]. Fortunately the frog couldn't dodge it or do anything and my foot hit it right on its head.

Not wanting to be taken by surprise again, I pushed myself and jumped back, doing a somersault to land on my feet. I stared at the frog for a few seconds and saw that it wasn't moving, so I unconsciously relaxed because of that.

"FUUUuuu… HUF! HUF!" – I breathed a sigh of relief as I deactivated the [Berserker] skill and [One for all] causing fatigue to overtake me repeatedly. I had to kneel as it was difficult for me to stand.

*Footstep sounds x3*

Seconds later as I was trying to recover I could hear the sound of footsteps looking in this direction. I quickly put on my hood which had come off at some point during the fight while I activated face concealment.

"HARU!! ARE YOU OK??" – Max shouted, to ask me if I was okay after seeing me kneeling.

"Yes, I'm fine, don't worry, I'm just a little tired." – I said between gasps of exhaustion. Not at all giving the appearance of being tired just a little.

"OH NO!! WE ARE LATE AGAIN!!" – Ben shouted complaining after seeing the frog and the parrot knocked out not far from where we were.

"Not so late, there is still that crazy old Animo. Come on, I took too long defeating these two mutants." – I said as I got up, a little more recovered.

"Yeah come on!" – Ben agreed and then we all started running in the direction of where the old doctor Animo went, well I ran in that direction and they just followed me.

It didn't take us long to get to where Dr. Animo was.

"THEY ARRIVE LATE, HAHAHA!! PHASE 2 OF MY PLAN IS ALMOST COMPLETE!!" – The crazy old Animo shouted and laughed after seeing us arrive, then he activated the machine on his chest and a red beam shot out of the antennas of his helmet towards the exhibition mammoth.

In just a few seconds he revived.

"CONTEMPLATE THE GENIIALITY OF DOCTOR ANIMO!!" – Animo shouted as he quickly escaped towards the other room.

"Ben, you take care of the big guy, I'll go after the crazy old man." – I told Ben when I saw the mammoth heading towards us.

"OH YEAH!! IT'S TIME TO BE A HERO!!" – Ben shouted as he moved the omnitrix and pressed it.

I didn't even try to see either of them with [Evaluating Eye], I started running while using [One for all] at 5%, I'm really too tired to use 10%.

The mammoth of course was not going to let me pass and was coming towards me with every intention of stopping me using its tusk. but me, although I am only using 5% of [One for all] and I am tired, I agilely evaded him using his fang as a support to propel myself and jump forward.

At that moment Ben had already finished transforming into four arms and without wasting time I went in the direction where Dr. Animo was.

'It's best to hurry, I don't want to fight a T-rex... no matter how tempting it may be.' – I thought as he quickened his pace. Although having fought against a prehistoric creature such as a T-rex on my resume sounds tempting, I am not in a position to do so.

Well, I already thought about part of the explanation of why for the third arc.

In the end I won't need to adjust the chapters since I didn't have to go deep enough to do so. Now we just have to wait to get to the part that I have in mind to give a "little" clue.
