You are my mate

Dark clouds were gathering in the sky up above , giving off an ominous and menacing feel , big or small animals and birds ran to hide in their homes and nests quickly as not to anger the furious king cobra further with their presence!

They ran to their hiding places when they saw the king cobra in such an angry state !

The forest was in chaos !

It was rare to see this as king cobra would rarely care about anyone or anything, not just king cobra but all the snakes are the known ferals !

The solitary creatures not meddling with others business and at the same time they disliked it more when others meddle in their business!!!

It was rare to see a feral beast in this part of forest and they obviously were fearful of his presence when it was not just any feral beast but a silver king cobra at that !

Everyone was wondering what has happened or what angered the king cobra so much so that he is hissing and growling like a beast he was ! When they noticed he was headed towards the lions castle rest of the animals were fearful as to what is going to happen !

Ying yue , after napping for some more time and digesting her food , was feeling energetic and refreshed , she didn't noticed but she has grown little bit than she yesterday was .

''I couldn't study properly as other kids as I was mostly sick and busy getting tortured by my family but I am sure I read somewhere that snakes don't have vocal chords , then how come I was able to talk today ?'' She said to no one in particular, actually she was all alone in her room and just thinking about all the new things and logic behind it that were new for her in this world !

"You saved the life yesterday don't you know this much ?! How dumb !" Sweet little girl like voice spoke to ying yue and ying yue turned her head to look at who it was .

There was a small butterfly like thing fluttering her wings by the small window, when ying yue looked closely it was actually a small girl with butterfly like wings, she was as small as regular butterfly in size!

'What is this now ? Is she a fairy ? It must be , I have once seen tinker bell movie sneakily when my step sister was watching TV, and her appearance is same as tinker bell fairy .... so...Even the fairies exists in this world ?!! How interesting!!' Ying yue thought to herself a bit excited !

"Are you a fairy ?" Ying yue asked her eyes twinkling like a curious little girl

"Hahaha....you are so funny and you are dumb too! I am Tin Tin , I am from butterfly clan ! " she spoke fluttering her tiny wings she continued

"Seeing how ignorant and unaware you are of your surroundings , I will give you some insights , when you do .." tin tin just opened her mouth to explain when someone hurriedly cut in "are you fooling around again ?? messing with others !!! you are always looking for a trouble!! Can't you stay put for even a second !!" Another butterfly like thing came from the window scolded tin tin and forcefully took her away grabbing her by her ears !!

Ying yue blinked and watched as they flew out the window , leaving her confused about what tin tin was trying to say...! 'This world is really something! though feels similar to any other normal forest , yet so different and full of mysteries ...!' She sighed 'I am sure tin tin was saying something important, something that I need to know to understand this place better , I hope I meet her again..!'

Loud commotion outside the castle broke her out of her daze , she slithered out to check out what was that about .

"What brings you here at the lion castle ? Have you forgotten about the rules of the forest ? " Jasper said to the long silver snake standing at the entrance of the castle

"You clearly know why I am here !" That dangerous silver snake hissed at Jasper , his dark eyes oozing with killing intent !

"No I don't , care to explain ?" Jasper said with his usual non caring tone

"Where is my flower ? You know very well what meaning it holds for us snakes yet you dared to pluck it without my permission!!!" Locus flicked his venomous tongue , he was surrounded with dark and cold aura and he grew taller as his rage got to his head towering on Jasper who was already six feet tall !

His overpowering aura and anger sent chills down Jasper's spine !

Though he himself was lion, he was just single level beast whereas Locus , the silver king cobra , is a third level feral beast , more powerful and the one to be feared of ! And in this current situation where he was mad over loosing his precious flower, and also it was a blow to his pride that someone stole his things from his house right under his nose!!

Jasper took few steps back unknowingly!

Ying yue arrived at the sight just slightly after and was shocked to see such a big and long silver snake towering over Jasper! His skin shimmered and sparkled occasionally when light rays fell on his silver scaly skin ...

When Locus sensed the presence of another snake and the similar distinct scent that was now stronger than before , the same scent that was lingering in his burrow when he had returned home only to know his home being robbed off of his precious flower !! The flower that was supposed to be given to his mate !

He turned his gaze to look at who it was !

To his utter surprise , his eyes met with a small white female snake !

His anger was washed away by almost seventy percent just by looking at her adorable little snake stature and pure white skin , which he himself didn't realised !

He lowered his stance to meet her level, ying yue , though fearful of a big snake before her , she did not move or hide but tilted her head up to look at him .

Locus , when his dark eyes met with hers , he was almost lost in her big green emerald eyes ...

after composing himself a while later , he transformed into his human form !

Ying yue's eyes widened at the sight before her ...

When she first saw Jasper in his human form he was already beyond handsome but now when Locus was standing in front of her she was speechless...

Her snake jaw dropped with awe !

His tall frame was slim yet he didn't looked weak but his body was proportionate with perfect and beautiful toned muscles !

His skin was fair like a snow , long silky silver hairs that fell to his waist , straight nose , sharp jawline and his cold dark eyes... he was way handsome !!

'Are all the males in this world this handsome?!' Ying yue thought to herself, literally drooling over his masculine body and handsome features!

"Were you the one who stole my flower ?" He asked in calm yet cold tone

Ying yue gulped , then mustered her courage to finally speak

"yes ... actually I needed it to save...."

Before she could complete her answer, he cut her off mid sentence !

"Ok then ! You are my mate from now ! Let's go!" He ordered without even blinking an eye and his face as calm as ever !

Ying yue gasped at his sudden proclamation!

'I just used that flower to save Jasper's life , what does that even have to do with me ? Why should I have to be his mate ?!!' Ying yue's mouth twitched .

it's not that she disliked him but mating directly with cobra king who is several times longer and bigger than her tiny self , though originally she was 22 years old but looking at her current state she surely was still like a baby snake and she wasn't prepared for this sudden shift of events !
