Transmigrated as a snake in another world

Ying Yue looked at her own reflection in the full sized mirror, her floor length pure white mermaid dress was looking gorgeous on her, her blond hairs were styled in a low updo and some loose curls were left to dangle freely and elegantly , framing her heart shaped face , holding a fresh bouquet of white lilies in her hand , she breathed in deeply and exhaled letting all her worries leave her soul ..

It was her wedding day , she was just 22 and was getting married... to whom ? Well ... that she didn't knew, her father fixed her marriage, she knew it was just a business deal , her father decided to marry her off to a wealthy businessman when he was facing a loss in his business , and she thought at least this could make her father show some love to her that she obeyed his word .

For the girl like Ying Yue this was actually enough of a happiness compared to the kind of life she was living all these years !

Tragedy ! Misfortune ! Struggle ! ill fate ...

Talk about any , there is hardly any person in this world who haven't experienced more or less at least one of these once in their entire life , for someone breaking off of a loving relationship was a big tragedy in their life, for someone not getting a high paid job or not winning a lottery was a misfortune, for someone just doing normal house chores or going through the day could feel as a struggle ! and not been able to marry their crush or marrying a wrong person could also count as an ill fate ...

But for Ying Yue it was different ! different in a sense that her whole life was nothing but a misery ever since she was born !

Sure , everyone has ups and downs in life and their share of good and bad fortune, but for Ying Yue it was too much to take...

She was a sickly child from birth, her mother died when she was just two years old , after her father married another women , all his focus , love and attention was given to his new family ! And he hated sickly Ying Yue for being a burden to him and his family .

Being a weakling and sick child she was always bullied by her step mom and step sister !

Due to her health and load of work given to her by her step mom she wasn't even able to complete her studies properly.

She was now tired of living like this , a meaningless and painful life...

But today was different, 'even I will have my share of happiness and life that I deserve!' She thought to calm her overthinking mind .

She was in her own world when suddenly some footsteps rushed into her room and in an instant

Her soft and pale cheek felt a strong burning sensation , the slap was so forceful that all five fingers were imprinted on her white cheek and corners of her mouth started to bleed !

Being already weak she couldn't take it , her world started to spin and she fell on the ground with a thud !

In her hazy state she looked up and saw a blurry figure , it was none other than her own father who hit her ! He was looking at her with rage and fury in his eyes ..

"Why.." she said weakly , barely audible to anyone around..

This kind of behaviour was every day thing for her when her stepmom and sister would make some scene at home and her father would beat her not caring whose mistake it was !

But what was it this time ?

What did they say that he slapped her so badly that too on her wedding day !

Ying yue was laying in a pool of blood, she didn't realise that she has hit her head when she fell, halfway conscious she could see that her father was still yelling at her for something she didn't even know she had done but couldn't hear a thing ! She slowly lost her consciousness....

Her gorgeous white wedding dress was slowly soaked in a crimson red liquid and her delicate porcelain face turned paler with every passing second !

She closed her eyes and darkness filled her vision ! 'Is this the end of my life ?'

Snake like venomous family members who played with her life and now she was dying in their hands just like that ?! She couldn't really accept her fate !

'I never asked god anything despite all these hardships he put me through cause I had faith that one day everything will be alright, but this ..? Finally I am dying like a lowly worthless pitiful creature ? '

Slowly she couldn't even feel pain or hear anything and she just felt like falling deep in an endless tunnel ...

God knows for how long she was endlessly falling in that dark tunnel when she saw a light , a bright light which strained her eyes to look at , it was white foggy space but neither cold nor warm , it was pleasing , contrary to her earlier heavy and painful body she was feeling light and relaxed now, she floated on what felt like soft white clouds ,

'What ?! Am I flying ?!!'

'Ooh.. it feels so refreshing , my body feels light and surprisingly I am not feeling any pain which is really nice !'

'Am I dreaming or dead?!'

She was enjoying her fluffy cloud ride when another cloud directly pass through her body

'Whoa!! How's that possibl...? ' she touched herself and felt hollow

'Is this just my soul ?'

'... so I really am dead ! And ... this is ...? heaven or hell !?'

'It must be heaven to be so soothing and nice, after what all I have been through I deserve a peaceful heaven for once I guess !'

But this peace didn't last for long

'Eehhhh what's happening?!' She held onto the cloud she was sitting on as its pace increased all of a sudden and it started to move in a circular motion and suddenly raised like a tornado but in a downward direction !

And she shut her eyes tightly in fear !

God knows for how long the tornado lasted , her head was spinning , she regained her consciousness after a while and gently opened her eyes .

'Where am I ?'

'What is this place ?'

At first her vision was a bit blurry but when she felt her surrounding resembling to a forest contrary to earlier heaven like white space , she panicked !

'So ... I died or not ? Or it's all just a dream , she looked up at the towering trees and thick bushes around her totally confused ! Forest was dense and sunlight could hardly enter through the thick long branches of trees .

She was laying on the grass and wanted to get up but ....

'Why am I not able to get up ?'

She felt the need to move urgently as nothing was making a sense to her , she looked at her body towards her legs

'Wait !!'

'Where are my legs !!' She shrieked frantically

She couldn't see or feel her legs and arms , instead of that she saw a snake like scaly tail behind her !

'Whaaaa!!!! What's that !!! Get ....get away from me ' she cried at top of her lungs and moved her body crazily trying to get away from that snake like creature but it followed her wherever she go !

Though her step mom and sister topped the list at being scary and being like a poisonous snakes! She was hell scared of snakes and crawling creatures like that !

After running away from it until she was short of breath ... she got tired

'fwuuuu .... fwuuuu!'

'Ah ! I can't move anymore ! My throat is drying up and I need water !' She was exhausted after slithering like that, trying to get away from herself !!

She found a small puddle of water nearby and went near it , when she finally saw her reflection in that ...

'Aaahhhhh !!!! ' she screamed once again , if not for her being not able to actually speak she would have made whole forest shake up with her loud shrieks !!!

'A snake ???'

'No no no no no ... This can't be !' She moved her little snake head sideways denying her whole situation

'I can't be a snake !!!'

'Of all the things I could be .... I became a freaking snake ??!!'

It took her a while to adjust and catch her breath ! After calming down a bit , She once again crawled near water , little skeptical , she looked at her reflection in water once again , this time a bit calm though her heart was racing like crazy...

What she saw was a pure white little snake resembling to her porcelain white skin from her previous life .

She noticed she wasn't a fully grown adult snake but a white baby snake ! She looked at her beautiful pair of emerald eyes and widened them with face full of appreciation , they were the most beautiful green eyes she has seen !

She looked herself in the eyes and took a deep breath ' Even if I accept it or not this is actually me ! This is what I have become after enduring so much pain and hatred in my previous life ?!'

After dying in her previous life she was transmigrated in the body of a little white snake , in an unknown forest !

After confirming it for herself she chugged up a water to quench her thirst, until she was feeling hydrated again !

In this unknown forest she was alone all by herself, not having a shelter , food or anything that needed !

Though her current form was snake but deep down she felt like a helpless girl in the wilderness !

But she had to survive , there could be predators lurking around in the shadows looking for a prey in this vast forest and she definitely didn't want to die painful death again when she just now came to this new world after dying , though not as human !

'First things first , Let's search for a safe space for shelter !'

She slithered through the grassy field to look for possible safe spots.
