Right now Tachibana is sleeping and snoring quietly in class. He use the book as a cover to hide his activity while the girl beside him just look at him with a hint of disdainful scowl. The reason why he is currently asleep is because it is history class. I think that is enough reason to sleep through it. 'Who cares about something that happened in the past. We need to focus in present time.' That is how Tachibana Shou view history lesson. That is why his history grade always barely enough to pass.

While Tachibana is asleep. His desk mate regularly sigh in annoyance while scratching her head aggressively. She then glance at Tachibana who is sleeping soundly and contemplating whether to snitch on this guy to the professor because she is suffering trying to remember all of the useless facts while this guy just sleep. It's not fair! At least that was how she viewed it. Then the dull professor voice can be heard in the quiet classroom.

"Chae Nayun, can you wake up the cadet that is on your left?"

Chae Nayun who is Tachibana desk mate (in case you didn't know) flinch after hearing the professor flat voice before resuming his teaching as if nothing happened. Being a diligent student she is she shake Tachibana shoulder. It is clearly not because she is getting annoyed with Tachibana snoring. Not at all.

"Ugh... Five more... Minutes... Or after...the history class."

Tachibana groaned softly with a sleepy tone. Which causes Chae Nayun vein bulging on her forehead in annoyance. Kim Hajin who is seating behind Chae chuckle softly. Chae Nayun who heard the silent chuckle tun her head half way and glare at Kim Hajin. She then clicked her tongue in annoyance and start to shake Tachibana shoulder more aggressively.

"Wake up you sloth! I have wasted my time waking you up instead of copying down the notes."

Chae Nayun shout silently while shaking Tachibana shoulder. This cause Kim Hajin looks at the two with a hint of amusement in his eyes and Shin Jonghak look at Tachibana with a glare that is full of jealousy. After being shaken aggressively Tachibana open his eyes groggily.

"Ugh... I have woke up, I have woke up. You can stop now."

Tachibana yawn before rubbing his eyes with a sleepy tone and a groan. Chae Nayun can only frown at him in irritation. After a few minutes, Tachibana take out his psp and play it under the table. Upon seeing Tachibana play his psp. Chae Nayun image of Tachibana who is the third highest ranker in the 'Agent Military Academy' is starting to deteriorate in her view. She can't believe that this lazy goofball is two rank higher than her.

After two hours, the bell rung. It marks the end of the dull professor lecture.

"Make sure you guys revise the notes you lot copy today. It will appear in the future exam."

The professor monotonous voice can be heard throughout the class then after packing up his thing he left the classroom. After a few minutes the professor left Chae Nayun grumble quietly

"Argh, so annoying! Why do I have to learn this? Writing exam is such a pain. I don't even complete my notes!"

Chae Nayun scratch her hair with an irritated face. Then her face slowly morph into a face full of smiles as she remembered what's the next class.

Anti-monster combat training

Just like the name. It is a training where the cadets will fight against monsters. Not a real one of course. Just a mana puppet but their appearance and strength is same as the real thing.Then a loud voice rang out through the classroom

"We're meeting at the field in 20 minutes."

The loud voice belongs to the class president named Yi Yeonghan. The reason why the instructor chose him instead of Kim Suho,Shin Jonghak or Tachibana Shou was because Kim Soohyuk knew about the conflict between Kim Suho and Shin Jonghak. He didn't want to pick a side so that's why he chose someone else other than the two. Kim Soohyuk planned to choose Tachibana but since he is too lax and carefree he is deemed to be not suitable for the role. Thus, making Yi Yeonghan the class president.

In the training field, Tachibana Shou currently engaging in a small talks with his classmates. Shocking right? You probably thought that Tachibana is an antisocial guy or just someone who is edgy but no! He has a wide social circle. Most of them initiated the talk first though. He is the type of guy who looks like an asshole but actually the chillest dude you've ever met.

Then instructor Kim soohyuk arrive. With his arrival Tachibana halted his conversation then join the cadet that are forming a column. After seeing the move Kim Soohyuk mouth curl upwards a little feeling satisfied with the disciplined actions the cadets took.

"Since you guys looks so eager to start the lesson. I will assume you guys know what we will be doing today. I will go straight to announcing the team then. You will be assigned to a four person team and you can't change it until after the midterm exam. Unless a special circumstance happens and a reasonable reason you will be permitted to change your team."

Kim Soohyuk loud voice can be heard to every Veritas class cadets.

The cadets grew uneasy. After all, this is the team that will not change after half a year. Like it or not they need at least one capable person to carry the team. Luckily for them, the top ranking cadet will be mixed with the low rank one since it will be unfair to pit the the top 3 against the bottom three. The team has been made up by an advanced AI to prevent corruption or an unbalanced team.

Each person on the team has their own role. Two warriors who will charge towards the danger, a marksman who will cover the warriors back and the utility guy to heal the warriors or marksman. A utility player and a supporter. Magician is basically a utility player but it is excluded until the first year ended. The supporter is of course a healer. Kim Soohyuk then continue his talk with a loud voice

"You have been given half an hour to check your name and your role before I start to announce the team!"

"You have been given half an hour to check your name and your role before I start to announce the team!"

The instructor loud voice enters my mind as I look at him with my usual smile. Did he eat a microphone since he was a kid? How can he be so loud. Then a screen appear behind the instructor.

[Warrior (Short range)----- Rank 1 Kim Suho, Rank 2 Shin Jonghak, Rank 3 Tachibana Shou, Rank 4 Rachel Elizabeth....]

[Marksman (Long range)----- Rank 5 Chae Nayun, Rank 10 Im Yeongjin..... Rank 935 Kim Hajin, Rank 946 Oh Jiyun]

Well, that was easy. A perfect role for me. I like it. Just eradicate all of the threats that is in front of you without worrying your back. Technically, other cadets need to watch out for their back but only I can ignore those small thoughts because of my sick abilities. All I need to do now wait for half an hour then get along with my future teammates. How about I bug those guy that talk to me earlier. What a bad friend I am for not remembering their names but oh well, who cares.

They are the real extras in this story after all.

That's a short thirty minutes. Chatting with these extras are kind of fun. Maybe I will remember their name in the future but not right now. The instructor then close the hologram screen and a new one appear. Those blank blue screen kind of cool. It's a holograms Tachibana of course it's cool!

"Alright settle down! Have you guys known your role yet? If you didn't know then I guess it is your fault for not batting an eye on the screen that appears for half an hour straight. Now I will announce the team!"

Yikes... He looks pretty ticked off. Probably because of the weather. I am kind of curious in which team I will be put in. I hope I will be with at least someone that is on the main casts. But a group of extra is also fine.

"Please step forward and get to know eachother after the team is announced. The first team Kim Suho, Kim Lang, Sang Seung-Un and Paine."

"The second team is Tachibana Shou, Rosen, Chun Lee and Chae Nayun."

Woah, my luck stats is pretty good. I didn't expect that I will be in the same team as one of the love interest for Kim Hajin. A welcome suprise I must say. Now let's go find my teammates.
