Transmigrate In The Novel Extra

(3rd PERSON POV)

In a white room, there are two person. Well, one technically. The first one is of course the protagonist of this book and the other one is a bright light that takes a shape of a person. After a deafening silence between the two the bright light speak with a cheerful tone to break the silence

"Jean Fleur You have died. Yay!"

Jean only look at the bright light that is shaped like a person with a deadpan face. Then the bright light continue his rambling while putting the palm behind their ear with great enthusiasm

"Come on cheer up! You have died and will be given a chance in another world! Let me hear a yeah!"

After hearing that Jean suddenly snap towards the creature with an angry shout.

"IN WHAT WAY SHOULD I BE HAPPY!? I'VE JUST LOST MY FUC*ING LIFE FROM CHOKING ON A CHICKEN BONE AND YOU EXPECT ME TO BE HAPPY AS IF NOTHING HAPPENED!?"

The creature just look at him with an unrecognisable expression. Well, he is technically faceless. Then he answer Jean with a cheerful yet dismissive tone

"No need to be so hostile Jean, it's an honest mistake. Sure it gets a few chuckle with how you die but now you have been given a chance to live a second life. It's great right?"

Jean only look at the creature with rage because of how dismissive the creature is towards his death. It's as if his death is nothing more than an ant walking in front of him. Jean can only suppress his rage because his instinct is telling him that he is an omnipotent being or higher than that. (A/n: my asspull for a reason is comparable to Gege Akutami)

"Now let's go towards the fun part. I feel like I want to gamble. So how about a wheel spin? We will have three wheels that will spin. One for your future world and the other two is for your powers."

The being spoke cheerfully as he snap his index and thumb finger then three wheels appeared. Jean can only look at the wheels with an annoyed frown on his face.

"Now let's spin the wheel to decide where you will go Jean!"

The being then continue his yapping with an enthusiastic tone as he spin the wheel. Jean who can't resist his curiosity looks at the wheel. There he can see a varieties of world he can go ranging from the least dangerous world like Oregairu or other romcom world to the most dangerous world like Hunter X Hunter or Berserk. Jean can only hope to be in either an easy world or at least to a world that isn't destined to damnation. After a few seconds the wheel start to slow down as the needle point towards 'The Novel Extra'.

Jean can only frown after seeing the world he is going to go. He didn't know whether to feel relieved or panicked. Jean can remember at least how the plot goes. He is not exactly a die hard fan who can remember all of the details as he drop the novel on its final arc because of how stretchy and the relationship Hajin have with Nayun is hurting his head. The world is kind of like Solo leveling but instead of fighting the ruler's or the monarch there will be a demon king that will descend. (A/N: I legit got a headache when reading about Hajin and Nayun relationship.)

"Ooh? The Novel Extra'? I know this one. It's where the protagonist fall in love with his mercenary boss right? Then he settle down on mountain with her right?"

The creature asks Jean excitedly like a kid while leaning close to his face and jumping up and down. To which Jean groan and reply dryly

"Yeah. It's that one."

The being then nod his head then continue his ted talk with an cheerful tone as he spin the two wheel simultaneously

"Now let's go find out what is your power. Let's pray that you get something overpowered like all-fiction or book maker or bleach power since most of those shinigami is op as heck."

After a few seconds, one of the wheels start to slow down and stop at 'Yoichi Nagumo Sakamoto Days'. Jean frown deepen as he looks at the wheel. Nagumo from Sakamoto Days is rather an unpredictable guy. He is full of mystery. He is a laid back guy that always smiles no matter the situation. He is also an assassin. That means he kills people with a smile as if he is doing chores. He also likes to annoy the hell out of people when he is fighting.

Jean can't really remember all of his abilities. But he is sure that his speed, reflex, endurance, durability, intellect and strength will be greatly enhanced given how crazy Sakamoto Days world is. I mean a guy stopping an almost 120 km/h bus using a stop sign. Yes, a freaking stop sign. It's really insane how Sakamoto Days world is.

"Yoichi Nagumo from Sakamoto Days? Oh, is he the guy who have a giant swiss army knife?"

The being look at Jean with a mix of amused and cheerful tone. Jean can only nod his head curtly while his brain work on full throttle trying to figure out other abilities Nagumo has. After that, the other wheel start to slow down and stop on 'Samuel T. Owen Ajin'.

Jean frown start to disappear slowly as it is changing to an excited smile after the second wheel stop. Samuel T.Owen or Satō is the antagonist of Ajin. And he is an immortal crazy sociopath who found fun in the arts of killing. He is not like those edgy guy who wants revenge or something of sort. He is just bored and he wants to have fun in his own twisted way.

Throughout the manga Satō basically abuse his immortality. Like grinding himself on a shredder to test his ability and he also has a black ghost to protect him. What's more, only Ajin user can see the black ghost. It is beneficial to him since basically the black ghost can't be seen at all by anyone other than him.

"Satō from Ajin!? Woah. Your luck is really good Jean. Not only you can kill someone stealthily but you also are immortal and to top it all off you got an invincible ghost as your bodyguard! You are basically a full fledged assassin in this second life!"

The light creature looks at the wheel with an excited tone and Jean can only let out a sigh of relief. Jean is basically impossible to kill after he is reincarnate. The creature then continue his talk

"Since Satō will be an old man you will be given Nagumo appearance and you will receive your all of your abilities after you've wake up. Now goodbye and see you soon Jean Fleur... no.... Tachibana Shou"

After hearing that Jean suddenly turn into ashes immediately leaving the light creature on his own.
