Chapter 344 - Vast starry sky

After the movie, Caelum had been brought to Yukata's shop as he did not have one stored. He could always make one using the stored material inside his workshop but decided it would be better for them to buy him one.

Miku is quite an expert when it comes to traditional clothes and when Caelum presented himself with the Yukata instantly made her skip a beat. 

Seeing her reaction made her chuckle while hearing the other girls hiding had the same reaction as her. The glasses and the scar only elevate his charms in a way. 

"Guess I don't need to ask."

"It looks great on you but how about we try a few more?"

Caelum ended up becoming her dressing doll and bought three sets of Yukata for him, on the other, Miku did buy anything as she already had a Kimono stored in her home for her to wear. 

Afterward, they headed their way to find a place to eat and arrived in a traditional sushi restaurant where they took their order.

"Hope you like sushi. I always one to like seafood but never fish general."

"I thought you're not one to complain?"

"Of course I'm not perfect if I was then striving forward is meaningless. Imperfection is what makes us act to be better unless you're a fool expecting things to change without doing anything."

"Wise words, Masa-sensei."

"Pffttt!! Hahaha, good one!"

"The way you speak always reminds some of these wise men.  But I'm curious why you hate fish?"

"Well when I was young those annoying fish phones got stuck in my throat even now I hate them. Though it only applies if the bone has been removed, which is why I love crabs."

Caelum shivers every time he recalls his younger days that made Miku giggle and never expecting that the perfect man to have flaws. 

He had a fair share of things that he unconsciously refused to remove to ensure he remained himself. 

The food arrived and took the food with his chopstick before trying to feed Miku was taken aback from his action before blushing. 

"What are you doing, Masa-san!?"

"I'm trying to feed? What, you don't want it? Just say ah then you can feed too if you want."

"Can't you see people are looking at us?"

"Does it matter when my eye is only your right now?"

His words made her blush while charmingly smiling bothered by the people around them who even felt blushing finding their chemistry to be perfect.

In the end, Miku gave in and opened their mouths, and took Caelum's food that made him grin from her date. He proceeded to open his mouth waiting for her turn.

"H-Here say ah."

Even though she was embarrassed was enjoying their interaction that made everything seem special. The two continued their date chatting about different kinds of topics before heading back to their hope. 

Both of them took the train with Miku's drowsy gaze and laid her on his shoulder while deeply thinking to herself. 

'Even though I know he will have my sister, I don't feel any jealousy. How strange. I'm going to confess my feelings at the festival to make it special like today.'

Miku fell asleep on his shoulder, giving her trust in his arms that made Caelum find her slumbering face to be perfect.

The next day it was with Itsuka who he took to go to a zoo where a variety of animals were caged. He thought it was the perfect place since it had recently gained a kangaroo currently in habilitation.  

It was her favorite animal and seeing her leaning on the ledge to just have a better view made it adorable. She was currently wearing her glasses as Itsuka, like the rest of her sisters, had poor eyesight that made it difficult to see things far away.

"Look! It's a kangaroo!! I never thought I would see one in real life!!"

She acted like a kid far different than her usual elegant demeanor that made it even better. Caelum quickly grabbed her waist that made her blush realize what she was doing. 

"S-Sorry I got carried away."

"It's alright, I would probably act the same if I had seen dinosaurs or prehistoric animals."

"That reminds me, what is your favorite animal?"

"Philippine eagle."

"Philippine eagle? What makes it different from a normal eagle?"

"Besides their size, they are known to be hunters who often find and eat small monkeys. They were saved from extinction recently."

Caelum always finds the appearances and size of the mighty birds to be more imposing than the normal eagle that was the symbol of freedom from gun nuts. 

He still treasures the creatures and had them within his Yggdrasil world striving and growing. 

"That's interesting, I hope one I can't see one."

"Maybe, you will. How about we look around the zoo? But first, let's take pictures."

After taking a picture of the two of them where Caelum wrapped his arms around her that made Itsuka grow flushed before smiling towards the camera. 

Once they finished strolling around the Zoo finding a few animals with that predator cower in fear of the presence of Caelum unable to escape his menacing aura. 

He had grown stronger than before turning his body into a living Martial art and A blade. His gaze looks at them holding nothing besides enjoying the moment with Itsuka but this is the effect for those who are ill intent towards him. 

His eyebrow raised when he heard something before turning his head and spotted people running away.

"Everyone evacuate! A lion had escaped its enclosure and was recommended for people to exist."

An announcement rang causing a massive panic when a lion came out of the corner and made everyone run for their lives. Its vicious fangs and a muscular body that was the apex predator on the planet started to freely roam the zoo.

Unfortunately, before he could remove people from the census, standing before him was none other than Caelum looking down at its imposing body. Itsuka quivered in fear when she spotted the escaped lion only to feel strangely calm when he saw Caelum back protecting her. 

She felt safe under her mighty shoulders then realized what he was doing and was about to scream only to have a surprise of her life along with the people around them. 

They saw him kneel and patted the lion as if it was some sort of household pet and yet the lion let him do it making everyone gasp in shock.

They took out their phone and started to record it since no one would believe what had happened even if they told them.  

"Reminds me of Elysian…"

He muttered to himself patting the thick fur of the lion reminded by one of his wives and contracted beast, Fenrir or Elysian. 

Before long professionals came in to find the lion had been placed back in its cage and true finding who it was but the two of them had already left the place. 

"You know what you did what incredibly stupid and dangerous!?"

"Okay calm down in my defense I've already told you that I fought lions before when I was training."

"Idiot!? How could I believe such a ridiculous story?"

"Fair enough. I can't say that it won't happen again since I'm a man who will always find danger. "

"I know….you always told us that but it's still scary you know? I don't want to see you losing an arm anytime soon."

"Alright alright. How about we have our lunch before heading to the movies and afterward head to my surprise place?"

She nodded as the two went their way to a nearby restaurant where they ate fancy food that Itsuka was a fan of. Once they have their lunch and watch the movie Interstellar takes Itsuka to a nearby mountain where they arrive on the large rock.

He placed some sheet before laying on it, making Itsuka curious about what he was going to show him.

"You're someone in fate and divination right?"

"Yeah, I know their thing works even if they don't believe me."

"Well around this time there will be something going to appear in the sky."

Itsuka grew curious before laying beside Caelum while blushing but did not care as she wanted to cherish their embrace. It didn't take long when her eyes lay in the night sky and witnessed the vast starry sky that was crystal clear without any pollution.

"So beautiful. Is this what you're saying about appearing in the sky?"

"No, that is."

To her surprise, the sky began to shower, and shooting stars were so breathtaking that she couldn't react and was only in a daze.

It perfectly shows its beauty alongside the vast star and looked at Caelum who was smiling and made her smile as well. She decided to embrace home even tighter as he wrapped his around her.

'It is beautiful but even when you're with me….I've decided that I will confess at the festival.'
